I am not expecting US radio to embrace anything overtly sexual from any gay singer (well unless it's some hot chick) let alone Adam. It's so stupid. If he has 2 big singles before Shady, radio will play anythhing! But the 2 big ones have to be BIG. |

My husband and I were talking in the front seat of our car as we were driving in town today. In the backseat, wearing noise cancelling headphones (for the fun of it) was our four year old daughter. We became aware of the fact that she was singing in the backseat, so we stopped our conversation to listen to her. The words were quite mumbled but the rhythm and tones of the words sounded familiar to me, then she said "All along..." and I realized that she was singing "BTIKM". I told my husband what she was singing and we sat in silence and listened. Adam has no competition in my daughter's singing voice, but in cuteness of her attempt, she is unmatched. She LOVES the song. She saw Adam's video yesterday and when she saw him playing with the lighter said, "You should not play with fire." Which I seconded. Other than that, I think the video makes her feel kinda shy. I think she thinks "Too much pretty to take in!" Don't we all...  That was adorable. Your daughter sounds very smart.  I love how Adam gets a little racier in his UK interviews. Shady is about cruising for sex? Ok then. Good to know  |

Does anyone know if the album we ordered from AO with the BTIKM download is the "Delux" album or the 'regular'....seems to me it is the delux but all the talk of the difference has me wondering? How would we know this?

How would we know this? When I ordered from AO, I believe I read that we would be eligible for upgrades closer to release date..perhaps that means we can opt for the deluxe version??? I think they were only offering Trespassing TBA. Please correct me if I am wrong.. ETA: OK, I checked and I am correct. We ordered the basic edition and will be eligible for exclusives..probably the deluxe version and maybe merch, hard to tell at this point. |

Here is the number of VEVO I watch --- Adam's rank: 76,924,152 total videos watched Rankings #23 Today#34 This Week #155 All-Time ETA: On the VEVO View CountVEVO and YT counter is not the actual number of views. The counter methodology (like the iTunes chart ranking) is a secret because they believe people will try to game the system if they disclose it. What is known: The counter functions in "real time" up to 302 views and is then frozen and updated periodically. The view count is not actual number of view. From the 302 point forward YT/VEVO use a formula and periodically update the count. Many people have experimented with the counter to try to breakdown what they do. 1. Refreshing the page won't work;does not equal a view.2. A view has a minimum requirement that you watch 50% of the video. 3. Only a limited replays of a video count. Multiple replays in a row do not count -- it seems to take a few hours between plays to count. But multiple views by one user on the same device from the same IP address do count. (Bieber's counts prove this.) 4. It does not matter if you are logged in or logged out -- they are using other User ID methods -- prob IP address and cookies. 5. If you play a video too many times, they will stop counting your views at all. Popularity is not just having the most views: They include other measures of popularity than views in calculating popular videos -- lots of referring sites, favorite counts, broad reach across demographics, mobile views, etc. Ohhh I had it on constant play yesterday on Vevo, and was thinking of doing it for VH1, but now not sure... Can you clarify points #1 and #3 for me? So refreshing is not a good way to rewatch the video? I've been hitting the replay button each time it finishes.. What do you suggest? When you say limited replay of videos count.. how many times can you replay it for it to count? I'd like to help the video count, but maybe you can suggest the best way to do that so that it will count. Thanks! ETA #5 How many times is too many for them to discount the views? #1 -- you have to play the video for it to count at least halfway. So fans who load a YT, start it and refresh it are wasting time. It will not not count as a play. #3 -- If you are replaying the music video on YT or VEVO because you love it, great. Enjoy. If you are trying to increase the number of views, don't waste your time. The folks at YT are smarter than that. #5 -- The formula is secret. So people are just guessing. Overall, for most things -- radio requests to video views, it is hard for 1 fan or a small group of fans to look like a lot of different fans. "They" have seen most of the tricks. Anyway, RCA is doing a great job getting this video all over the place and getting lots of people to see it AND that is what matters -- getting lots of people to see it. |
