Q3 I recall you were not very partial to the idea of Adam doing anything with Queen right after the EMAs. What's caused the change of heart? No change of heart -- I do not want and did not want Adam + QUEEN to be the focus of Adam's career. I want the focus to be on his new music. So, I do not think that a tour with QUEEN would be good for him. But another performance or two would be great. Two very different things. I love the press he is getting from the rumor because most of it includes a link to his video and a promo for his new album. I love watching him with QUEEN. I just want Adam Lambert singer-songwriter-musician-artist does a once (OK maybe 3 times) in a lifetime concert with QUEEN -- NOT Adam Lambert brings his own style to QUEEN music. So now and then for promo and/or so Adam can make some money = cool. Adam becomes famous as ne w"Freddy" doing music I love but that is from 40 years ago and earns him no royalties = not cool. Last thing -- Adam does a TV program with QUEEN and mega production numbers and a live recording after his Trespassing Tour = take my money now. We're on the same page. Can't decide if I like the idea that he can literally cash in now or all the extra publicity this will bring him and Trespassing.

My husband and I were talking in the front seat of our car as we were driving in town today. In the backseat, wearing noise cancelling headphones (for the fun of it) was our four year old daughter. We became aware of the fact that she was singing in the backseat, so we stopped our conversation to listen to her. The words were quite mumbled but the rhythm and tones of the words sounded familiar to me, then she said "All along..." and I realized that she was singing "BTIKM". I told my husband what she was singing and we sat in silence and listened. Adam has no competition in my daughter's singing voice, but in cuteness of her attempt, she is unmatched. She LOVES the song. She saw Adam's video yesterday and when she saw him playing with the lighter said, "You should not play with fire." Which I seconded. Other than that, I think the video makes her feel kinda shy. I think she thinks "Too much pretty to take in!" [laughs] I wish I could get *my* four-year old to sing BTIKM! It made me cringe the other day to walk into her nursery school class to find her and all the other little kids at her table singing "Tik Tok" !!!! :-/ I swear, she isn't hearing Ke$ha from me, so where the heck is she picking it up from? :

I think it is over 1 million now if you add the VEVO views to the YT views. The VEVO version is only available in US, Canada, UK and Ireland. So they posted it on YT too. The VEVO count is at 414K but hasn't been updated for hours -- and should make a big jump at the next update. ETA: VH1 BTIKM does not look like it is HD . The VEVO version is the best I've seen -- even looks good on a large HD screen. BUT Adam looks great in all of them. This may have already been posted, but I think the Vevo and youtube views share the same counter, it's just off in the early stages of a vid being posted. You can see by looking at older vids by many artists, the numbers of views are the same on both Vevo and youtube. So I don't think you can add the Vevo and youtube vid counts together. Just go with whatever is the highest number you see in this wonky early stage and consider that the total. ETA: I was also doing some reading around about youtube/vevo vid counts, and it helps if you jump to the video page different ways, like with different search terms in youtube or on google, or from different sites. Whenever a new article is posted with the video embedded, I always play the whole video through on their site, because I think it gives hits both to the blog article featuring Adam, and adds to the total view count on youtube/Vevo. VEVO is a joint venture between Google, Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, and Abu Dhabi Media. EMI licensed its content to the group without taking an ownership stake. Because VEVO is only available in the US, Canada, UK and Ireland, The videos on VEVO are syndicated across the web, with Google and Vevo sharing the advertising revenue. They also are available on Google's You Tube and on Google TV. People believe that VEVO and YT use the same counter formula but they may not. It is at least very similar -- like almost identical. One difference I have observed is the update frequency for VEVO seems different. But I have not studied closely. Diversity of viewers (profile) and referral sites matters for Popularity but no for view count EXCEPT that 1 viewer watching a video.

I found out they play kids bop during my daughter's gym time, which explains how she know the lyrics to so many top40 songs. Now as for Just Dance, that is strictly for my entertainment. She has picked up songs from there too, but Just Dance blanks the the lyrics rather than replacing them which sound comical, like some tv producer is tapping the censor button. Eta: grrrrrrr hate my phone. Hit the wrong quote. Meant to reply to hopperskippersminers Q3: I think I fixed it!
