As fans I think is is very hard to be patient. We love the song and want it added now. When I first heard BTIKM I thought it was very radio friendly, I still do, I have come to like the song even more than I did at the beginning and I truly believe it is going to slowly climb the charts and be at the very least a moderate hit. It does take a ridiculously long time for some songs to climb the chart. The good thing is that the songs that climb slowly do seem to have staying power over the ones that rise quickly and then often just disappear. I really see the video boosting this song. Crossing my fingers that I am right about this. ETA. Now as a reward for one of my rare posts - I would like a ding please. :  |

I was just thinking about this this morning. I used to hear BTIKM at least once during the day on my station at work, B104, but for the past week....I haven't heard it once. I still think the 1st single should have been a more up beat song, catchier (?). But maybe it was to ease 'this country' into it, lol! Considering people here couldn't handle the single FYE! I just want to be able to say "OMG they just played this song" WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE. He's worked so hard. I'd hate to lose him to overseas :( Such a great talent. Amazing vocals. Why are others not seeing what we see? According to the Mediabase charts the spins on your station are up from 13 a week to 16. Maybe you are just missing it? GEEEE Guess what just came on the radio!!??? LMAO. I think they do play it after 5pm more, I know they don't play it more than once from 9-5 TY. Where do you find that info btw |

aprilmarie, I use saga's site to find out the spin leaders adaminradioland.wordpress.com/There is also another site where you can put in any station's call letters and find out what they are spinning each hour, but I don't have the patience for that.

SO true BUT Q102 still hasn't added the song to the regular rotation. Again, I reiterate if we the fans don't vote during the day and at night on "Takeover", plus last night the two other station in Chicago, we might lose some spins. When and how long it takes before the song gets entered into the system. ??? I think this song might go up once the push from RCA but I'm not seeing it the # that WWFM produced. Again just speculation. It just seems so slow I had a conversation again w a fan who use to post here and has decided to remain in the safety of her house believes this is not doing it for Adam. Another friend of mine said it reminded her too much of WWFM and wanted something different. So we as fans see the sunny side but I wonder if indeed this will be a large enough hit to take him out of the sophmore letdown symdrone. Or are we hoping for the next single release? I would have preferred for this to be the mega hit. oh well just blabbering and worrying again. |

Where do you live? (PM me if you don't want to say here). B104 was a big supporter of WWFM so I don't know why they wouldn't play BTIKM. myspenser - Do you have the link to sageo's Numbers site? I didn't bookmark it. :-[ I want to see how many times a day B104 is playing it. Thanks again!

I think the Top 40 stations will increase their spins (by a lot) once it gets into Top 20-30 HAC. I have no idea when that will be because there is a big clog of songs right above Adam. There are about 6 that are dropping pretty fast, but that alone won't do it.
I don't worry because besides voting, there really is nothing I can do about it. It is RCAs job to get the singles played. If Adam has to release another before the album that will not be a bad thing. I think there are probably 3-4 great ones waiting in the wings.
His NYC promo will kick in in a few days. We will soon see what else RCA has planned. And if it is another single before the album, so be it. It means we get another song early!! :D
