So if there are no adds today is it safe to assume that RCA is dropping the ball or is it still early? I know its moving up but idk these things.... It's too early to know what will happen. Adam has done only minimal radio promo on the West Coast. We are hoping for big radio blitz when he comes back from Europe. Adds day was only 2 weeks ago, give him a bit more time. Hopefully we will see stuff start to happen in the next few days. |

Do you think that once he gets on Jump Start VH1 his numbers will start to really climb. Which comes first Jump start , or high numbers and radio play? I'm A bit confused.
Didn't WWFM have a slow start too and then big push for radio play?

Progress looks normal, slightly slow on CHR. But I think the Dec. release date just fucked us all up. It seems to me that all this promo was planned for a January release. If the single had been released in January, like originally planned, I would say he was way ahead of where I would expect him to be. It probably would have been January 10th. NYC promo looks like it is happening the end of this week. I am hoping for a Z100 add next week. Fingers crossed, but will not be surprised if they go 2 more weeks. Not to compare Adam to Kelly because she got her adds fast, even though sales of MKIA took off slowly, I remember her fans were wanting RCA to switch singles. Her fanbase was sooooooo mad that she performed MKIA on the AMAs instead of introducing Stronger!! The reason I am bringing that up is because I think fanbases just want it all much faster. However, Madonna's WTF crap song had an increase of +1000 spins!!! Man, I wonder if that is because she is iconic and will get spun no matter what? Or is it because of Interscope? |

I don't think we will know anything until after he does east coast radio promo. Which means, probably not a great week for adds this week, but next week could be a lot better.
I think he is doing ok on HAC right now. CHR is kind of at a standstill until he gets some big markets.
Regarding Madonna's seriously crappy new song, I think Interscope struck a huge deal with Clear Channel. Weren't these stations playing her song every hour all weekend?
It is hard to compare WWFM. That song got the benefit of all the album promo, some of which was pretty huge stuff----Morning show, all the late night stuff, Oprah, The View, etc. Adam will get a lot of this stuff when the album drops, it will just be happening at a later point in the life of the single.

Not sure what is going on with chumfm : :-/. Most recent spin was at 3:39 a.m today. I have been requesting it regularly and rating it! I hope the spins increase.
