myspenser - Water under the bridge & all, but why do you think RCA released BTIKM in Dec? I don't buy the "as a gift for fans" idea. There was a lot of gnashing of teeth on twitter at the time about the WTF release date unless there was a huge appearance planned. And that didn't happen. In retrospect I think those twitter angsters were right. I won't tell them that tho - LOL. I'm glad it's climbing on HAC but I'm still perplexed big time about what's going on with RCA.

What does zero market rank means? How influential is a station with zero market rank?
Madonna worked hard and long for her reputation now her reputation works for her. But it's not all of course. Madonna's label signed a deal with the Clear Channel company and now they have to play her song at the stations they own. (They own 850 (!) stations.) This is where her shockingly big numbers of spins, adds, AI come from. No need to be surprised.

Not myspenser, but one of the theories is that the song was released early because BFM was being pushed as his new song and album to radio stations and all over the internet in ads. This probably was the best way to combat that misinformation, and it worked great! Beg for Money kinda died away after that!

Not myspenser, but one of the theories is that the song was released early because BFM was being pushed as his new song and album to radio stations and all over the internet in ads. This probably was the best way to combat that misinformation, and it worked great! Beg for Money kinda died away after that! That could be. If so, just one more thing to lay at Monte & his ilk's door. Ugh. Btw - does my avi look angsty enough? It's temporary. I hope.  |

What does zero market rank means? How influential is a station with zero market rank? Station with zero market rank are usually satellite or internet stations not associated with one particular location. Market rankings are based on the ranking of the city they are in. |

I'm guess I'm just very disappointed on the spins progress. Yes it's moving but 13+ spins can't compete with 350+ spins increase per day. Monday morning blues I guess |

Adam does not fit in this category yet. In fact, he may never have it as easy as many others because he embodies left of mainstream values. It may always be difficult, but I believe that he won't give up (and we will stay with him too!) Adam should not be compared with Kelly either, because she is the beloved first idol, has 4 well-received previous albums out and is not particularly controversial (and is a female). They have little in common except they are Idols. |

MKIT is starting its 6th month on the radio, BTIKM is out for just a month. The song needs time. |
