What does zero market rank means? How influential is a station with zero market rank? Station with zero market rank are usually satellite or internet stations not associated with one particular location. Market rankings are based on the ranking of the city they are in. Sirius, with a zero market rank, is the number one station in So California!!  And they are playing the crap out of this song! Spins mean sales eventually! |

myspenser - Water under the bridge & all, but why do you think RCA released BTIKM in Dec? I don't buy the "as a gift for fans" idea. There was a lot of gnashing of teeth on twitter at the time about the WTF release date unless there was a huge appearance planned. And that didn't happen. In retrospect I think those twitter angsters were right. I won't tell them that tho - LOL. I'm glad it's climbing on HAC but I'm still perplexed big time about what's going on with RCA. I think it was to make it clear to radio and everyone else that BFM and the bastard single was NOT Adam's new music. The bastards were sending promo to radio stations and touting it as Adam's new single. Some actually thought it was true! It seems kind of obvious, to me anyway, that all the promo we are seeing now is what was originally setup for a January single release. |

What does zero market rank means? How influential is a station with zero market rank? Madonna worked hard and long for her reputation now her reputation works for her. But it's not all of course. Madonna's label signed a deal with the Clear Channel company and now they have to play her song at the stations they own. (They own 850 (!) stations.) This is where her shockingly big numbers of spins, adds, AI come from. No need to be surprised. I don't know how RCA markets. BUT why coulnd't they sign a fabulous deal like this??? 850 stations. on the other hand, Kelley has 9415 spins and for MKIA 8,333 spings vs Adam's 386. that's a HUGH HUGH difference. no wonder I never hear it. I'm guess I'm just very disappointed on the spins progress. Yes it's moving but 13+ spins can't compete with 350+ spins increase per day. Monday morning blues I guess Here's the HAC chart for you to peruse. You can see that Adam's +94 is in line with most of the other songs. And every + is a good thing! Even a plus +13 on CHR!
