Just listened to the Ford Starlight and was newly amazed. We are so used to Adam's exceptional professionalism that I, at least, sometimes forget just how in tune with his music he is. Jeez, that was an awful sentence but what I am trying to say was that Adam not only sounded wonderful in that clip but so did the guitarist. Of course the guitarist is a professional but it was Adam who modulated his voice to perfectly blend with the guitar and create a sound that was the perfect balance of voice and string. Infuckingcredible. It makes me wish I could hear him sing a song accompanied by a saxophone, just to hear how he would use his voice. He must be a joy to perform with. I just watched that Starlight vid too, and forgot how much I loved it!! And, was thinking the same as you about how Adam can create such a perfect balance. Was also thinking how much I'd like to hear that with Monte playing the guitar....and then you mentioned a sax!!!!!!!!!! OMFG!!! I would go bat shit crazy if I heard Adam sing along with a sax!!! It would have to be so awesome!! Luv the sax and have known many small town bands that used them and the sound was just mind boggling! Adam + Saxophone = EPIC!!!!!!!!!! hehe, I know he hate that word, but I can't help myself!!! PS~I probably am already bat shit crazy, but I don't care. I'll just blame Adam!! hehehe ILHSFM *sigh* |

Just came across my feed. OMG, this GQMF: OMFG!!! Those eyes......those beautiful EYES!!!!!!!!! I've followed this man for 2 years, like most of you. I will never get over his eyes!!!!!!! It puzzles me how I can still get so flustered when I see a new pic (or an old one) and still go crazy over how beautiful Adam is. I'll probably never understand it, but I'll just go with the flow cause it's so much fun and I'm lovin' every minute of it!!!!!! |

Maybe Bruno loves making music more than entertaining people with it. Adam loves music AND performing equally. When he performs, it is a real love exchange between Adam and his audience. All he feels is love, love, love... And he gets back what he gives away. Such a busy time with all my family here, but just want to put in my late SQUUUEEEEEE for Adam on AI Thursday! By then, everyone will be gone. I hope he gives some interviews promoting the remix, too! Miss playing on line with all you guys! Bruno is a very talent singer/producer/songwriter. But he is less experienced as a performer vs. many other current artists. Gaga worked her way up on the Club circuit. Adam did tons of performances since he was 9. Bruno was signed to Motown when he was only 19 -- but it went nowhere and he was dropped without a release. He had to work his way up as a songwriter, session singer and producer. He may way mature as a performer and be great. I only saw him live once. I was not impressed and I like him. He just didn't seem to connect with the audience. Just a differing opinion (and take it with a grain of salt as it's one person removed) - but dazgale on twitter who is a big Adam fan and has seen tons of live pop star shows this year saw Bruno Mars in the UK very recently and said it was a really great show. (He also reported that Bruno brushed off his waiting fans afterwards.) I'm tempted to see Bruno because Janelle Monae is opening for him and I've recently fallen in love with her crazy experimental album. |

For all you sickies. Get well soon.   Awwww thank you, Jamie! You're so sweet. I actually lived on toast, oatmeal & scrambled eggs for about 4 days...lol! Only thing that sounded good that I had here at home. Sucks when there's no one to take care of you. I have to say that my youngest son, James, was called Jamie for the first 15 years of his life. Then, when he got into HS, there were too many Jamies that were girls, so he went to James. I still call him Jamie on occasion, and he doesn't mind, of course..lol! But, when you post, I always think of him.....so far away in HI. *sigh* Miss him so much. |

I think this is a "co-tour." I think they are being billed equally, not one as an opener for the other. So, you would get a lot of Janelle, not just 20-30 minutes like with an opening act.
