Adam is so much more than visual. Yes, there is a fascination and love for him which his presence satisfys. But he is so much more. He has an energy, a quality of sound, and a visual image which transcends a trite explanation. He moves one emotionally right off the planet. It's the best drug there is. Maybe Bruno loves making music more than entertaining people with it. Adam loves music AND performing equally. When he performs, it is a real love exchange between Adam and his audience. All he feels is love, love, love... And he gets back what he gives away. Such a busy time with all my family here, but just want to put in my late SQUUUEEEEEE for Adam on AI Thursday! By then, everyone will be gone. I hope he gives some interviews promoting the remix, too! Miss playing on line with all you guys! |

Difference is that when Adam looks like he just rolled out of bed --- he looks sexy vs. grungy.

Glittergma - glad you are feeling better and recovered from the flu. Having back pain is no fun - but with your sunny disposition - it will be fleeting. Nothing like positive thoughts to recover faster. You can always feign really bad back pain on thursday, so you can leave early !!! Thanks, Smokeyvera! I try to stay positive, but last weekend I was almost in tears many times as I hurt so much. I'm not one who goes to the Dr. very often, but was necessary this time, for sure. As for why I have to leave an hr. early, thinking I might have to take care of my Gson...hehe! And, there would be no one to tell at work as they will be all gone by them (my boss & coworker, that is). It will all work out, I'm sure of it! And, basically, the only reason I stay late that night is that we have a young volunteer come and we are supposed to supervise here. Well, she comes & plays cards with a few of the residents. So, why do I need to be there? LOL! |

But he is less experienced as a performer vs. many other current artists. Gaga worked her way up on the Club circuit. Adam did tons of performances since he was 9. Bruno was signed to Motown when he was only 19 -- but it went nowhere and he was dropped without a release. He had to work his way up as a songwriter, session singer and producer. He may way mature as a performer and be great. I only saw him live once. I was not impressed and I like him. He just didn't seem to connect with the audience. |

glittergma--- All I have is a cold, and I've been wiped out. If I had the flu, AND back trouble I would prob eat my young, if they were around. Luckily for dh he is bigger than me. >:( Miss you around here.  Awww glamnana, I miss you too! I actually had a cold a few months ago that was worse than this flu. If it hadn't been for the pulled muscle, I wouldn't have felt so bad. But, everytime I coughed, it made the pain in my shoulder worse. UGH! This was an upper respiratory flu and the facility where I work actually went into quarantine for about 6 days. All the residents had to stay in their rooms, even for meals. We all had to wear masks when we were out in the halls & in the residents rooms. Was such a crazy time, for sure. No visitors allowed either, of course. Things are finally getting back to normal. Hope your cold is gone soon. They really suck!!! I'm still coughing a bit, but nothing like last weekend. Sending healing thoughts to you!!! |

Do we know for sure that Adam is back in LA? Other than a tweet saying he was at fubar and a rumor?? that he was at the Idol party, has there been ANYTHING else? Can't believe he went through the Denver airport and LAX unnoticed.

Just listened to the Ford Starlight and was newly amazed. We are so used to Adam's exceptional professionalism that I, at least, sometimes forget just how in tune with his music he is. Jeez, that was an awful sentence but what I am trying to say was that Adam not only sounded wonderful in that clip but so did the guitarist. Of course the guitarist is a professional but it was Adam who modulated his voice to perfectly blend with the guitar and create a sound that was the perfect balance of voice and string. Infuckingcredible. It makes me wish I could hear him sing a song accompanied by a saxophone, just to hear how he would use his voice.
He must be a joy to perform with.
