So Simon actually said Adam could audition. Probably just banter unless Adam reallllllllllly wanted to be on it, which I doubt. Which raises an interesting question. Could multiple labels sign him. If in this odd scenario Adam won could he be signed to SYCO or would some contractual obligation to RCA/19/Fuller prevent Cowell from signing him? I think the crack about Clay being Elton's nanny is because Clay adopted a child a couple of years ago shortly before he came out, and Elton just adopted a child this past year. Very snarky. Didn't understand Simon's hand gesture about Adam. I am gonna interpret it as either "That's iffy, cuz he is already a big star" or sarcastic, "Mmmm, not sure he would make the cut" but followed it with a definite yes. I think Adam would consider auditioning for X Factor only a year after hell froze over. He was asked a while ago if he would ever do another reality show and his answer was a firm 'NO.' Not to be picky but neither adopted. Clay had a baby with a long time friend who I believe is a lesbian and Elton had a baby with hs partner via surrogate. (I believe Elton's the bio daddy.) And I didn't really take any of Simon's yesses or nos seriously since I don't think any of the people he mentioned would audition or be taken if they did. Maybe one ex-Idol who could bring in ratings, like Frenchie, but not anyone super associated with the brand. It was more of a hypothetical question than serious, IMO. |

Don't think he even dared to imagine something this big what has happened during past two years ...... Yep, I think he's said it has exceeded his expectations...but that's what ya get when you're a master at creative visualization and creating good karma (not to mention a hard worker)! YAY Adam! |

About Adam auditioning for X-Factor, why on earth would he do that? He 'won' already one and got his career started. Auditioning for another would mean (at least to me) that he does not believe in himself that he can make it on his own now. He can perform as a star as much as he likes but hopefully never again auditioning and being voted either in or out.

hoopla, I made the mistake of clicking on that vid of Black and White, then I fell down the rabbit hole of ALL the S8 vids again... :  It brings back all the intense excitement and anticipation from two years ago... OMG... TWO YEARS AGO!!!! I can't believe it!! |

OMG... TWO YEARS AGO!!!! I can't believe it!! I know, I know...I watched B&W, then IICHY, then ROF--I swear, once you start it's hard to quit isn't it? Such a wealth of great performances from this guy--and they really haven't grown old for me yet. *sigh* Okay, I'm off to bed now. G'Night all! |

Okay, my little late night twitter foray has to end now...but saw many tweets commenting on the ADAMAZING FULL-CIRCLE SYMMETRY of GNAFL's upcoming 3/10/11 Aftermath performance. [/quote] When I watched this the first time and in the end when everyone was so overwhelmed and Adam had tears in his eyes - I thought this was the moment he realised his dream would finally come true....! He must have felt very confident after the show because he came up with this very risky performance of ROF one week later. Scrolling through some blogs/sites it seems that many people who are interested in the "Aftermath" remix do not want/are not able to do it on AO. I really hope Adams comment "Will be on iTunes eventually" means very soon aka next week....!

Carla it was not only that.You see, just as the 13 were announced the pics of him kissing Brad popped up and he thought "this is it, they're gonna kick me out, i made it so far and i'm screwed just before the live show", at least that is what he said, so right after the performance and listening to the judges, it was double the feelings he already had. JMHO.
