This is your opportunity to get the latest audition information for Simon Cowell's brand new talent search with a prize of a $5 million recording contract. I didn't think Laura or Simon were serious about former Idols, who had made the top 12 at least, being on X-Factor. Now there are quite a few former finalists who made the voting round but weren't put through to the top 12 that I would absolutely love to see show up on x-factor. The first that pops in my head is Angela Peel. She's fantastic. Adam has no need to audition for x-factor because his career is amazing already. Now I'd be interested to see if they'd ask him to perform but since I've never watched x-factor I don't even know if they had guest performers. It was interesting to hear Simon confirm that it takes about 2-3 million to properly produce and promote an album. That's a lot of money to risk on someone who might not be able to sell albums. Makes me glad that Adam doesn't have that problem. I think his second album is going to be even more successful than his first. I never thought Adam would ever try out for a reality show again (that goes for Clay and Reuben) it would be such a step backwards for all of them..and certainly Adam does't need it I am surprised that Clay was dropped...how about Reuben, does he still have a recording contract? I've noticed that they were recently on tour, CA & RS(or still are, I don't know) who sponsered this tour, anyone know? |

Delurking to say I am excited to see Adam on Idol again!! It is a great opportunity to reconnect with that demographic and perhaps sell enough to be platinum...Also it is a great marketing venue for his new charity the Trevor project...He can show all these people how big hearted he is..

Good morning, everyone!
The only information I like from that Simon interview is the 2-3 Million bucks needed to make a successful album. The name throwing (Adam) to audition on the show is just Laura being silly (she is an Adam fan). I think Simon was caught off guard with her silly questions.
