Anyone watch the half time show with Madonna? :D  I'm all for great artists going out there with not a lot of 'ginger bread' gimmicks and rocking it out with their band, interacting with the audience and singing their faces off. JMHO |

I would still say there is not confirmation at this point. Not saying it isn't in negotiation but until either the festival, Queen, or Adam give an official confirmation it is still nothing more than rumor. This type of thing happens all the time with these festivals. Once even the head of Glastonbury had supposedly confirmed U2 would be headlining and yet it turned out to be false. That being said the first rumors of Adam's Maxidrome performance leaked months before the event and were denied by both the festival organizers and Adam's people yet months later he was announced as a performer.
It is even possible that the festival organizers deliberately leak potential performers in order to gauge whether they will be a significant draw and often to encourage the bands in question to say yes when they approach them. Who knows what is going on behind the scenes but we DO know that there are negotiations of some sort in progress.
The good news is that the longer this is drawn out the better it is for Adam right now in terms of press because he is getting a LOT of press coverage out of it and it will draw attention both to his new music and to the EMA footage which is a total WIN WIN for him. I find it even more interesting that no one seems to have gotten a comment from either Brian or Roger about this.

Madonna half time big and showy she out did Gaga. Vocals so so new song sounds like one of the Disney kids singing.
Adam gorgeous as ususal looks like he has been on vacation not a grueling press trip for the Album.
