OOh I like the foreshadowing! My first thought when I saw the chessboard LA pushed forward was that we was cheating! How could he? DA is having a bad day already, could you just give him a chance to win one? ;D I always thought of the knight in chess as a bit of a rebel who is the only piece who doesn't or cant move on a straight path or in one direction. He has to move two spaces in one direction and another sideways. Veeery sneaky. The knight in a Tarot book describes him as " representing eagerness, action, movement for it's own sake. Without some grounding influence all this excitement can dissipate itself as he tries to fly in every direction at once. The knight is just beginning his adventures and lacks the assuredness of the King and the awareness of the Queen." There's a lot more but it seems to fit. I'm glad someone else noticed LA seems to be sneaking in moves! lol - but then I thought that dark Adam seems to be a more likely chess player so maybe he's been trying to teach light Adam who just isn't getting it at all but keeps beaming at him and asking to play again. Combine that with the fact that dark Adam's room is so cold that he can see his breath and he apparently doesn't even get an area to make warm tea & popcorn and I'd be pissed too! Also, so agree on tarot - in fact didn't say it at risk of exposing yet more of my dorkiosity but I was thinking that in tarot terms - to my mind - Adam would clearly be represented by the Knight of Cups - both light and dark (reversed). Ooh and in tarot, Knight represents fire element, and Cups the water element..

Somebody asked about translation to Camilla's blog but it was done yesterday: camillagervide Camilla Gervide Just watched @adamlambert live and realised that my old buddy Kevin plays keyboard for him. Oh, small world. #friends Link to her blog (in Swedish) www.camillagervide.com/2012/02/adam-lambert-live/Oh, she says All of Adam's band had suffered from a stomach bug so they were anything but jolly, but the gig was still quite magical. The new single Trespassing is sooo awesome and will be a big, big hit!She starts with the same info as in her tweet adding that they realised their earlier connection when she was crawling on the floor in front of the stage and says that she doesn't know which one of them was more surprised. Somebody also asked about how what where has she known Kevin. IDK but the title of the blog is (or was, don't see it anymore?) "From Hollywood to Hornstull" which gives the idea that she went to school in Hollywood and then moved to Sweden as Hornstull is in Stockholm. My guess is she was living in Hollywood temporarily studying music. She writes in her blog about visiting her earlier home and Musician's Institute and a drive up on Mulholland Drive after sunset and being told by the police that she was trespassing (!) and not allowed to stop there after sunset. She is a singer and has recorded too. In addition to all that I saw her post from Jan 25 where she writes that Adam releases his album on Mar 21 and will be in Sweden the week after that!!!Hearsay at this point maybe but interesting anyhow. PS Sorry that I didn't try to track back who asked and what.

Here's the translation of the Kulturbloggen article about yesterday's concert in Stockholm (Thanks, Zinnia, for proofing! )

Adam Lambert in Mix Megapol Unplugged
The American singer/songwriter played an exclusive acoustic gig at Mix Megapol in Stockholm. In a couple of months he’s releasing his new album Trespassing and he is in Stockholm to promote that.
He performed very cool versions of the songs “Whattaya Want from Me” and “Fever”. He also performed songs “Better Than I Know Myself” and “Trespassing”, which is the title song for his upcoming album. His new songs are more personal and not so much mainstream, they are more real.
When Adam sat down on his chair on the stage, he said “this feels like my own living room”. It was precisely like that, very cozy and a very special moment.
The premises of Mix Megapol worked very well for this occasion. There were about 50 people who had got the chance to see him there, very lucky selected fans.
He was joking on the stage, spoke with different dialects, the audience was laughing when he tried to sound like an Italian from Eastern Europe. During one of the songs it seemed that Adam was going to start crying, his eyes were glistening. He was radiating happiness and joy, he smiled even when he was drinking his tea.
When he was singing “Whattaya Want from Me”, he sang wrong in the second verse, he forgot the lyrics and asked jokingly from the audience, “How do the lyrics go?” They sang along and filled in pieces of the song. The sing-along was cozy and very intimate. The fans who had driven from Gothenburg said that Adam is the best singer who has ever set foot in Sweden. Afterwards he let his fans take photos with him and signed very nice autographs.

_ninni Carina Here are some notes about Trespassing during Adam's showcase in Stockholm: - Adam had broken the microphone (cont) tl.gd/fpjpljFeb 7 www.twitlonger.com/show/fpjpljHere are some notes about Trespassing during Adam's showcase in Stockholm: - Adam had broken the microphone stand (LOL!) and was standing up singing with the mic in his hand. - Most of the audience were sitting on the floor during the show (including me) but the atmosphere were great anyway. - He started the song with some talking "come on, get a load of me...". - Adam was clapping his hands and stomping his feet many times during the song. - The audience joined Adam (mostly by clapping). - The song was really loud and the floor was shaking. - Vocals became more intense further in the song. - There is a part where he's panting "ahh ahh ahhh...". - There are some high notes. Band stopped playing at one point and all you could hear is a A+ note from Adam. Then the band starts playing again while Adam is singing some more high notes. - You can definitely hear that Pharrell produced it. - The song is really amazing and the whole audience seemed to love it. It's so catchy! - It feels weird to watch videos from Austria because the vibe during the song in Stockholm was different. So much more energy!
