am I the only one who thinks the collab Adam seemed so excited about is with Bowie? and that Nile Rodgers is making it happen next week in NYC? this would be a dream come true for him, so I hope it's real. LOL Well that would be INSANE.....it would def get press. IDK about radio play since Bowie isn't current, but he is iconic so it should be good from an artistic standpoint....but man that is reachin!!! LOL. Of course why not dream big lolol I dunno tho, it's super unlikely...isn't Bowie like retired and not healthy anyways??? |

Could the collaboration be for one of those mini album releases. Are they called EPs. Where they release some of the hits and some new songs on a second mini album? Hmm interesting. I figured it would be for the other persons album or a last minute add to his cd (?) thought maybe he was coming to NYC for cd and promo work. Excited to have him on my coast again    Collabs CAN happen after the album is done. The Kanye part of "ET" was done for a radio edit to much success after the album came out. Some Pink fan just circulated a "dream collab" tweet that included Kelly, JesseJ, Adam, Adele and Butch Walker (whoever that is – sorry any Butch Walker fans out there, I'm drawing a complete blank). So my votes would be: • Rihanna (white-hot, super nova and she collaborates with people all the time that don't necessarily benefit her on paper, but then end up benefiting her because they spin everything she records. Not to mention a video with both of them would be so smoking hot I can't even ...) • Pink (would LOVE; also very hot internationally) • JessieJ (I guess; still not feeling her completely but she CAN sing and their styles would mesh and would be good for UK) • Bruno, I guess. I also agree with evergreen's theory – nothing can be said until every detail is worked out, so they ARE going to deny or skirt around any collab questions until every contract is hammered out and signed. I also think there are (and have been) many exceptions to the "have to be a national" of Olympic host country thing, so don't completely buy into that, however, I'm believing Opening ceremonies less and less likely since so many bands have been asked. I'm thinking it would be more of a major festival event that would coincide with the Olympics, but not necessarily be part of the official opening or closing. And IF the bands/artists that they've asked participate were involved in Opening or Closing ceremonies, it would likely be a medley of some kind. |

Sauli will obviously stay in LA while Adam is in NY, because there will be two Tutkas next week. (Source: Katri's blog). I figured as much because Adam said he was going back to LA to spend a few days with Sauli. If Sauli was going to go to NYC, it would have been much easier on Adam for Sauli to meet him there. |

A few months ago, he appeared to be rebuilding a website and there were fan accounts circulating of having seen him and he looked fine. (Grain of salt, etc.) However, Sharon Osborne made that comment almost a year ago and it made it sound like his problems had happened a while back. A brush with health issues can make you want to come back more vital than ever. I mean look at Nile right now.  Man is on fiyah!! I'd join the Bowie atheist prayer circle in a hot second. |

 Well, I saw the Berlin Reichstag (parliament) in the hat:  And the drawing on the wall could be inspired by the East Side Gallery in Berlin - for example:  Too excited to read through the end of the thread and catch all your comments. THis picture is totally fucking brilliant. I can't believe it! As someone who's lived in Berlin for several years (both before and after the fall of the Wall) and LOVES the city, this picture captures wonderfully what is so exciting about it. I see the Berliner Dom in the hat, as well as the Reichstag, Clematis:  , and yes, I thought of that famous image of Honecker and Brezhnev kissing from the East Side Gallery, too, but what a brilliant way to depict it, as if the kiss is mending the wall. (by the way--original mural didn't have the Trabbi crashing through it. Here's a clearer pic:  ) And I love that he chose to depict an earlier "controversial" same-sex kiss (even if it was only a fantasy kiss). And the energy of the city is totally captured. I agree the cliff-side NO MAN's land is terrific (my family's car once lost a hub-cap in no-man's-land. My then-teenaged-brother, not thinking, jumped out to retrieve it, and saw himself looking down the barrel of quite the array of shotguns!--Everything was fine, though, in the end!). And yes, the Brandenburg gate is def, there, too--Adam gets the tourists highlights but still manages to imbue the pic with the energy of the insider. You can tell he must have gotten to know the lively dark side of the city when he lived there, and loved it. AWESOME. (Can we make out if there's anything written on the flag? *goes off to oggle again*) ETA:  muthaf'in' |

I was watching the BTIKM video on Vevo and looking at some of the comments and learned something new today (being an Adam stan is continuous learning ;D). There is a button next to the view count that when you click on it gives you viewing statistics. "This video is most popular in."  I think this is AWESOME. Worldwide domination BB!! ETA - here's WWFM  this is awesome! What is that little country that is white just above Austrailia? Half of the "island" is very green, the other half totally (edited: gray) white!Adam needs more fans in Greenland. |

What were his mysterious "health problems" anyways? Hmmm/ Idk, I am torn between the pie in the sky dream of an icon like Bowie, versus a red hot super current radio darling. In a perfect worrld we would get both, but I will settle for one lol. That being said I think it is JJ too. Good mention of CK there, I mean wasn't it tweeted that they were working on some new last minute song? Sounds like that could be the collabo, and if so then a pop diva like JJ is most likely who the collab is. But here is hoping he at least gets to meet Bowie one day if not record or perform with him. |

IDK but adam looked so damn excited, like he was dying to tell something big. Seemed like more than a Jessie J level of excitement. Also, when he was sick, Nile's tweet said Hit me back via email me if u need 2 (as in IF WE HAVE TO RESCHEDULE THE RECORDING SESSION WITH BOWIE LOL 8-)) it's a dream. |
