LOL Well that would be INSANE.....it would def get press. IDK about radio play since Bowie isn't current, but he is iconic so it should be good from an artistic standpoint....but man that is reachin!!! LOL. Of course why not dream big lolol I dunno tho, it's super unlikely...isn't Bowie like retired and not healthy anyways??? There have been rumors to the contrary for both the "retired," and "isn't healthy." A few months ago, he appeared to be rebuilding a website and there were fan accounts circulating of having seen him and he looked fine. (Grain of salt, etc.) However, Sharon Osborne made that comment almost a year ago and it made it sound like his problems had happened a while back. A brush with health issues can make you want to come back more vital than ever. I mean look at Nile right now.  Man is on fiyah!! I'd join the Bowie atheist prayer circle in a hot second. Yes - and what was the tweet Nile sent Adam when he got sick - "Let me know if..." can't remember the exact wording, but implying they may have had something scheduled... |

IDK but adam looked so damn excited, like he was dying to tell something big. Seemed like more than a Jessie J level of excitement. Also, when he was sick, Nile's tweet said Hit me back via email me if u need 2 (as in IF WE HAVE TO RESCHEDULE THE RECORDING SESSION WITH BOWIE LOL 8-)) it's a dream. 3 Ah he lives in NYC? Or has a home there? Interesting. Hmmm....NGL I would kinda die. I won't even enertain the thought because right now it seems so improbable--IF AWESOME!!! LOL--but if that happened can u imagine the press? I mean that right there would give him some srs cred, that a musical icon and innovator like Bowie would come back to collabo with some new kid. It would literally kill twitter forever LMAOOO That said...can't even go there with hoping lolol....but I like the way you think gurl!! At least it's fun to think about....and if it happens then you need to gimme some lotto numbers!! |

The guys talk way to much and don't let her answer many their own questions about Adam...but I appreciated getting a sense of her personality. Also how she got the gig with Adam. Click on the LISTEN. Her part starts around 31.00 Thanks for the link!! She seems like a real nice girl, they also talked about Shanghai gig, Leno's show where she broke the strap, etc. |

I have a UK charting question.
Up until Shoshanna's tweet yesterday, I had no idea that the UK charts are based solely on sales, unlike the US radio based charts. She said, in her tweet, that based on sales alone, she would expect Adam to get to #5. I'm not sure if she was referring to BTIKM or the album.
OK, my question is, if we, in other countries, purchased the album or single off of Amazon/UK would that count as a UK sale?!
I think you can see where my brain is going here?! ;D

Thank you for posting this, this is really awesome. For those wondering why Germany is a white spot in Europe (btw the only white spot in Europe  ), we are scorned on Vevo AND Youtube and it is still not released here yet. I was impressed with how dark India is!! India??!! Did we know this?! My sister is there right now for a semester abroad and she told that they play his mvs regularly on an music tv channel. He is definitely not unknown there. ;D |

I do think the tweet from Nile definitely hinted at a meeting... Don't know what kind, but I love the love that Nile has for Adam.

Yay, so happy about the current band configuration. This shit is gonna rock! ETA: don't miss the interview--she says loads of nice things about Adam. Also, any Friday Night Lights fans out there? something about her down-beat inflection and I dunno, the rest of her too TOTALLY reminds me of Devin, the awesome cute lesbian base player for Landry's death-metal band, Crucifictorious. Ha ha. Devin is played by an Austin musician (series was filmed in Austin) who is in a band I really like, but it's not Ashley :  . I don't think I understand anything any more. Can someone provide or link to a basic explanation of what ARE the US charts anyway (Billboard? Soundscan? Mediabase? Itunes?). What charts matter and what are they based on? How can one look at them? I think I know that ... years ago ... the Billboard charts were revolutionized when Soundscan came in. Because Soundscan gave hard numbers on what was selling, instead of just having the record stores report whatever they wanted. Specifically it brought to light the fact that country music was much much bigger and less regional than record stores had been reporting. But now that digital is so important, I don't know how any of it works any more, what's important and what is just b.s. Someone help me before my head explodes.  |

I was watching the BTIKM video on Vevo and looking at some of the comments and learned something new today (being an Adam stan is continuous learning ;D). There is a button next to the view count that when you click on it gives you viewing statistics. "This video is most popular in."  I think this is AWESOME. Worldwide domination BB!! Very interesting. The countries with no Adam presence (white) I THINK are: Niger & Chad in C. Africa Libya & Egypt in N. Africa Iran (no surprise) Poland (???) Papua/New Guinea (N. of Australia) At least this is as good as my ole eyes can see. And to stay OT - I would be extremely happy with a Bowie collab!!! |
