I try to watch at least most of videos each day. I just can't seem to get enough. Adam's voice is beyond any I have ever heard. And that includes lots of musical theater voices, most of which are outstanding. He just has a warmth about him. Always has. And the voice speaks for itself.

Great tour and QAL were wonderful. Adam looked stunning and wore some of his best outfits.
Now I guess Adam will head to Australia. So excited for him to get these opportunities (Mardi Gras and The Voice).

Interesting, Beyonce, Lana Del Rey and Post Malone are all releasing music to country. Beyonce's label has already sent her single to country radio and some are playing it. Great that she has the clout to let her move outside her genre and try her luck. Some say Post Malone has the best chance for success in country but I would not count the others out cause they are already successful and have label support. Carrie's label/team allowed her to venture out of country and into Gospel and she got a #1 Gospel album and a Grammy out of it. Even Daughtry has a #1 single on rock radio now. When he was with RCA, they would not even try to get him on rock radio. And he said he was frustrated that they kept trying to push him to Pop. But his new label is behind him and he has had several songs chart on rock radio. His work is not really that hard (most of rock radio is diverse and not all hard). But at least he can compete for radio play with mostly other adult men at this stage of his career. And stop wasting time with the futile effort of going up against the teens, twenty somethings and the women who dominate Pop (Daughtry is 44). Sometimes getting out of that box, where they only support certain acts, can work so I am happy for him.
Adam has a lot of great things happening for him but I am really excited to see what he has planned with his new music and if he will get a label push. Also curious to see if QAL will play Rock in Rio again.

lurleene, you are always so good at keeping track of other artists and their strategies in jumping genres, resulting in better radio pay and often receiving noms and awards. I have to believe that Adam's management/label know how this game is played. Like you, I'm always puzzled by Adam being stuck in a no-man's-land that just isn't working for him. We keep hoping it will change, but it never does. Maybe this next time around........
