Gorgeous, bewitching, powerful, yet humble, no number of adjectives can describe the charm of Adam Lambert. “Mr. security man” “Excuse me sir” These are the words that most express Adam's humanity during this performance in Japan. A wonderful side of him is his ability to properly show respect to others. And this fast-talking Adam is the real Adam. It was also a moment of relief. The scene where Adam picked up the flag was only shot from the side! I thought it was really amazing that this scene was created based on Adam's decision. He's the frontman of QAL! lurleene, you are always so good at keeping track of other artists and their strategies in jumping genres, resulting in better radio pay and often receiving noms and awards. I have to believe that Adam's management/label know how this game is played. Like you, I'm always puzzled by Adam being stuck in a no-man's-land that just isn't working for him. We keep hoping it will change, but it never does. Maybe this next time around........So thankful that Adam has many opportunities, in demand, and a lot of success. But when he gets the chance to sing at these high profile events, he always has to sing a cover or a Queen song because his own good music is not widely known. I love the accolades he receives when he slays an emotional song and/or rocks out with a Queen song or performs with Queen to much fanfare but it sure would be nice if the world knew about his own stunning works. There is such a lack of exposure for the great and moving music he writes and records as it is hardly heard by anyone other than fans. |
