Not my favorite album, but do really like a couple of the songs on it.

Love ALL of Velvet. Every single song. Wish it had been released by a major label at a better time. Loverboy, Feel Something, and Closer To You were my absolute favorites from Velvet. I am holding on to hope that Adam will not give up on an album with more music that fit the glamrock/rock/soul/ballad mode that he has had on all of his albums. Even tho they were not released as singles, many had meaningful, universal lyrics and they showcased the much praised Adam Lambert voice.

Thank you, pi, for that interview with Oprah! It brought back so many memories. There was a true mania for Adam right out of Idol and we saw him all over the place. Love that interview!
And thanks for posting those Velvet vids, too. That album was full of gems, IMO. Ready To Run, Closer to You, Feel Someting, and more. Would love a few of these songs to see the light of day again. And BTW, his Fraggle Rock character is SO great, not to mention his voice!
