Adam Lambert came to fame as a competitor on American Idol in 2009. He later starred on Glee playing Elliott Gilbert. His run on the show could have started years earlier, though. The big-voiced singer shared that he auditioned but was denied for the show before he joined the singing competition. “The casting director was like, ‘Wow, I love your voice, but I think you’re too old to be on the show,’” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “So I didn’t get it.”

I love these reviews. I feel like I have watched these guys from the first look at Adam solo kind of with a question, to becoming a full-blown glambert. At the end of the Part II, Adam really had them. It was so good to see. I wish others would realize he is not only the frontman of Queen and there is a reason he is the front man of Queen. He deserves so many more accolades than he receives in the US. I know he is well respected in the music industry. I just wish it were more public and more American. The Brits seem to adore him and you can tell. After watching these clips again, you have to wonder....what were people thinking that he didn't win that competition. |
