Oh and also wanted to say that we don't know the plan--maybe they had a plan to drop single 2 right before album anyways? I mean he did say MAAAAYBE when someone asked him abt that so.....yeah A second single would be amazing! BTIKM isn't exactly the most thrilling lead in to Trespassing after all.. I mean gosh, most of the album tracks on FYE are better :-/ |

Ya know, I'm using as my comparison point Lady Gaga's "Let's Dance". That lead-off single for The Fame (or was it The Fame Monster at that point?) kinda meandered around for a really long time. Let me start off my saying I liked "Lets Dance". But I didn't think it was cutting edge or anything, and I remember being highly unimpressed by the video. Really, to me, Gaga didn't take off until "Bad Romance" (I think I was one of the few who didn't like 'Poker Face"). [snort] And we all know how The Fame Monster wound up doing! It is JUST Dance and the album was The Fame. IMO she blew up with Poker Face. Couldnt escape that song. DUH! Thanks bb, fixing title...... |

IT'S SOOOOOO JJ ONE OF THE COLLABS HE HAS IN MIND. IT'S SOOOO JJ. I cannot believe that he's talking ALL THE TIME in the last interviews about JJ, without a reason. Well, the choice is certainly his, but I don't think the "everyone" will be so "excited" description applies to JJ. I wish for all I'm worth that it will be someone *BIG* and not someone that people will have to ask - who is that? :-/ |

For pity's sake, if they could release "Jar of Hearts" or whatever LDR is depressively warbleing these days, why not "Broken Open". I *so* could envision it on the late night radio shows.... [sigh] |

[looks at previous post critically] On a completely nit-picky editorial note, are album titles supposed to underlined or bolded? I'm assuming songs, like chapter titles, are supposed to be in quotes. Sorry, working on a reference section right now, and these style guides are staring me in the face. Depends on what style guide you are adhering to. They should get same treatment as any creative work. In Chicago Style, italics; in AP Style, quotes.
