Sticking in toe ... please don't hate me ... Mapril worries me in a way I have never been worried in 2 1/2 years of following Adam. Things seemed to be going so well about the album. Rave reviews, people saying there were four or five singles even better than BTIKM (which I LOVE). That the music was crazy and great. And I agree with Susie that the promo for BTIKM seems great. The video is amazing and while it isn't flying up the charts it seems to be doing OK. So, why, suddenly, does Adam need a Bruno castoff and some other Claude Kelly song? And it is worth delaying the record again this late in the game, with promo appearing in March magazines now appearing on newsstands and the like? What am I missing? I have strained my mind to interpret this in some way other than that RCA is not happy with the album or the possible singles. The idea of Cuckoo or Trespassing as singles suddenly seems far away. I don't get it and perhaps we are just missing too much information at this point to fill in the gaps and feel better. We may just have to wait and see. I admit I feel tortured but recognize that is my problem not Adam's or anyone else's. I think they had the Bruno song since month, but maybe mr executive producer was not happy with it, maybe with the production and that was the reason he said early january, that he is not sure if it will be on the album. Maybe now he and Dr Luke (Adam said Dr Luke would produce it, right?) has found a way to improve the song and it will be on the album. I had an idea about Claude Kelly. Hasn't he also worked with Jessie J? Maybe the Claude Kelly song will be a vocal collaboration with her. If there will be a vocal collaboration I think she is one of the best choices. So I don't think adding this song is a last minute decisions just to add a few radio-friendly songs. I think they are just opportunities came up just recently and they decided a delay is worth it.

I agree Aralid, I think the new Claude song could be a collaboration with Jessie J.

The nal stuff was coming from what TK had said, which was picked up and ran with by nal stans. And where do we get "Bruno castoff?" As mys*&@^#r said, we've known about Bruno collab since the press release in January. Yes, they worked together but they weren't sure if the song fit into the album and I think it is totally obvious they are talking about the last two tracks that have not been named. All the others have been repeatedly. Once they were getting reaction from the press release, I THINK they decided to try to rework the song so it DOES fit – or they are able to add that little extra boost and perhaps now Bruno is singing on it whereas he wasn't before. (Based on Adam's comments over past few days.) I also think the "new collab" is likely with the new song that Claude talked about Well this just in.... www.entertainmentwise.com/news/69807/Adam-Lambert-Confirms-Bruno-Mars-Collaboration-On-New-Album-TrespassingETA: While I was in the middle of my point, I saw someone tweet this in my Twitter pop up: Adam Lambert has confirmed that he has recorded a duet with Bruno Mars for his new album 'Trespassing'. Asked whether the rumour about 'Grenade' star Mars guesting on the forthcoming album by ArjanWrites at the Grammys, Adam was happy to reveal the truth. "That's a yes! He will be on the record," said the 'Better Than I Know Myself' star. Meanwhile, Adam spoke emotionally about Whitney Houston, who had died just hours previous. "The least we can do is to remember her and pay tribute to her artistry and celebrate her life. It's a hard thing to say. It's a bit soon to say much more at this time. It's still so fresh." Adding: "I was just being like 'damn, she can sing!' And with vocals like that she inspired all singers. That was singing. A top-notch level of difficulty, taste and flavor. She had it all." Adam recently denied reports linking him to becoming the new frontman of iconic rock band Queen.

Ohh ok if he DOES duet with Bruno either it's not NCOE or it is and the lyrics got changed because there are some lyrics that, while are pretty vague, could be construed in a romantic context ("wipe the sleep from our eyes, I don't wanna miss a moment with you") and as cool as fans would be about it--really no big deal imo--but THE MAN may get a homosexual panic lmfaooooooo

When I heard about the Bruno number, I figured it was a song, like Fever or WWFM, that was discarded by him and then offered to Adam. I don't remember them "working together" on the song. Perhaps I missed that news. I love both Fever and WWFM and truth be told I'll probably like this one more than I think I will. I was/am excited about hearing Adam's vision. I think we have plenty of Bruno on the radio. But my preference are not what is driving this obviously LOL, and I recognize I'm veering off from what the numbers thread is about. So I'll shut up now.

I think anyone grasping at NAL straws needs to be ignored. Even if they aren't his fans they obvsly are shit stirrers/concern trollers or need to step back and take a few deep breaths lolol cause that is REALLY stretching it lmaoooooooooo Sorry, I so don't get this entire conversation. Where again do we get that BTIKM isn't being "pushed," when he has visited so many stations we can't keep track and pimped the song and sung it multiple times live over the past few days and may sing it as many as FOUR today?? What would we call that then? Just wondering. And the nal thing is laughable. I think, like MKIA, as Kelly said, the first single is meant to be a reintroduction to the media, public and radio. It is not meant to be the two-one punch. That's RCA's theory and looks like they're sticking to it for Adam's roll-out. Their theory proved accurate for Kelly. MKIA had a slow but steady climb primarily on HAC that seemed to stall in many places and her fans were saying EXACTLY THE SAME THINGS as so many Adam fans are. Then they release Stronger about 5.5 months later and it flew up the charts. Suzie - The promo now is FANTASTIC. The convo was addressing the lack of promo when the single first dropped. At least that's what I was addressing. No one can complain about what's happening now!!!

I thought the Bruno song was a "cast-off" single from his latest album. That's not a diss on the song. WWFM was a Pink "cast-off," and everyone loved Adam's take on it. My point earlier on, was that the Bruno song was old and not something he wrote specifically with Adam in mind and delivered to him in the eleventh hour.

One of the uk reviews mentions, that they had heard the unfinished track in November. It was the one with the comments that they were indifferent towards Adam in the first era. was it popustice? I don't know, there were so many.

I'm not one of those people who loved Music Again. My least favorite song on the album by far. And it sounds nothing at all like anything on radio right now so I am super happy it was never a single. I'm pretty certain I will love Cuckoo and that it will be a much better fit for radio than MA was.
Nothing wrong with discussing this important topic and having differing theories and opinions. At least IMO. I find it interesting and educational.
