Can't find the 92.3 performance. This photo is on their site along with the M&G photos. This has probably been posted by gelly already. ;D

It's Adam's career, RCA's business, and - for the rest of us - just fun and games, so I think Adam and RCA are probably making and will continue to make the best calls. They have the most at stake and the most information. (Which still, of course, doesn't guarantee anything - not every song can be in the top ten . . . only 10 can!)
Whatever choices Adam and RCA make, I hope the choices "work" to get him where he wants to go. To me, Adam is already WILDLY succeeding overall. (And if he had one iota less talent, personality, savvy, integrity, "hawt"-ness, etc. etc. etc. he wouldn't be as far as he is, I don't think.)
US pop radio is one part of the game - Adam wants to win that part with Era II, but if he can't/doesn't, his game is far from over.

Alright, I just listened to Never Close My Eyes Again, and yeah, I changed my opinion again. I think this song is boring, repetitive, but not repetitive in a can't-get-it-out-of-my-head way, but more like repetitive and forgettable way.
Even though I want Adam to do well, I think I'm just going to be whatever, in regards to what happens with Adam's singles, and their roll-outs, and just buy the album when it comes out.

I wanted to comment about the Bruno single. We think this is a vocal collab now? IDK how I feel about that, but at this point I guess I'll take anything to get these asshole radio stations to fucking play him. Even tho I am sick of Bruno being all up in erbody's biz I guess I'll take what I can get. Hey while they're at it why don't they add him to BTIKM so they will actually play that too!Maybe a BOB rap breakdown and add in Katy P harmonizing as well! Let's pander away! WEEEE! #bullshit Chunky...I'm with you. I'll take anything to get the PD's to add/play him. But this song isn't doing it for me. It's kinda of boring. Again, another medium beat song. Not dancey and it seems similar to It will rain. I just don't know. It doesn't sound like a hit to me but then again, everything Bruno does sells so I'll take it. So confused when people say never Close Your eyes is not a dance tune! ?? ???

BTIKM at Fresh 102.7 is the last one I listened to and it seems that Adam and Kevin are getting their act together. Somebody pointed out earlier that they don't even look at each other - and they don't which to me is very odd. Maybe this was well rehearsed take on the song for them, maybe they are getting more comfortable with each other, maybe there is more trust or they were just concentrating on their own part respectively - and doing in synch.
Still the performance is exquisite. It is stripped down of all electronic and feels like a song sung at a bonfire with friends. Especially the guitar arrangement gives me that feeling. (I am no expert in guitar playing, so no offense to be taken here.) It sounds to me as "naked", just the chords played broadly giving room to the singing. Also no driving drum beat, nor string hitting to simulate it, no solo riff effort, only a peaceful background. And it works very well.
I remember someone wishing several backing vocalists to this song when performed live and a lot of keys too. That surely would make the chorus stand out. But would it really be in accordance with the style of this new music? It makes me think of violins too etc. and I think it would be too much of stuff. The song that stays strong with so many different backgrounds has to be a good one. And at this point I would be disappointed if the melody and Adam's voice were to be sunk in big orchestral arrangement. The funky material on the album will be doing it anyway, there the band coming in strongly must be good for those tracks and enhance the live performance. As much as I liked the distinctive beat in the single arrangement and the strong, aggressive rendition in Leno I am actually preferring this simple background and gentle tone for BTIKM. Very interesting to see if it will stay that way or do they come up with something more compelling and more powerful after all?
