I am so happy his short trip to China has brought about such good will for Adam. I did see some complaining he "changed" to suit China. No earrings, nails, etc. But it is not always about that. Sometimes, as in this case, it is about respecting the people and the culture of the country. He is someone who just always knows how to handle himself and it shows. Great Job, Adam!

Well, Adam's latest string of IG comments sure sounds like he's very excited about the "Afters" songs. I'm being positive and hoping it will all work to his benefit. He has a good sense of humor, that's for sure.
And Adam's trip to China was certainly a coup for him. A boost in his songs and certainly in his exposure there. He's a master at all that.

Adam's trip to China was a success. He looked great. As far as his looks, this China performance was not the first time Adam has toned it down for the audience. Kennedy Center Honors. The Oscars. Princess Kate performance. Girl Crush and many other times over the years. Not sure why anyone would be surprised or disappointed. It is not as if he was hanging out with his crew (this EP may be more for their liking and their after hour fun as well) and he needs to show how queer he is or a Pride event. It was a different type of professional performance and he met the challenge for the audience. Personally, I like it more when he lets his talent shine without too much extra makeup. It seemed to me that when he was carrying the extra weight, he went overboard with the makeup, shoes and outfits as sorta a shield. Thankfully he got himself in shape and looked out for his health. It is a plus when they are talking more about how great his performance is and how good he looks.
Will pass on this era but Adam has said he was making music for his community so I hope it works for him. But there is a reason why he is often asked to speak to and motivate LGBT youths instead of someone like LNX or those who mainly want to shock. I hope he retains that status. And fingers crossed he will release more universal music later and not continue down the explicit sex and electronic music road. Not interested in music about sex (gay or straight). I don't find it sexy and TMI with no emotional connection.
Adam is a master with ballads, rock and soul and has many fans outside his community who are waiting patiently for some non-club dance music from him. But I don't think he is with a label now (Warner UK) so will likely continue with less universal type music. Someone said they no longer follow one another but don't know if true.

VINCINT + Adam Lambert collab for “Another Lover”VINCINT dropped the bop “Another Lover” a couple weeks ago that’s described as “a high voltage hedonistic ode to lust and love.” The song is a duet with fellow gay pop singer and Queen front man Adam Lambert. The single is a cut fro VINCINT’s upcoming EP and comes ahead of a booked Pride month with performance dates in London, Los Angeles, Indianapolis, Jacksonville and Vancouver. Written with Annie Schindel, RZY and Skywalk, the song was inspired by a real life, sexually liberating experience at Coachella. “I was on a high from the stage, dancing with my crew, riding the wave, and locked eyes with a boy. I then had one of the best nights of my life. This song is about making the fantasy a reality, owning your sexiness and body, and diving in,” he said in the press release. “VINCINT and I have been friends for years and once I heard the new track coming together, I immediately loved it and was honored to be asked to sing on it,” Lambert mentioned in the release. “It’s the perfect Pride bop for summer! After debuting the track in my Sydney Mardi Gras headline set, I’m excited the world can now stream it!” Listen to “Another Lover” below:
