A plea to RCA...For Trespassing, please let Adam's own music out as the singles we long to hear.. He is not only a talented ,amazing singer ,but an original, exciting, sensitive and compelling song writer. IMHO I think MR. RCA that his uniqueness is his key to success.
If I had the money I would put a full page ad in the LA Times.

Good morning! I want to share my thoughts on BTIKM. I have been thinking a lot if as a fan I do everything possible to help the single being played on my local stations. Despite my very limited free time (i have a 8-month old baby and I work) I request every single day at CHUM, Virgin Calgary and Virgin Vancouver. I send emails, tweets, fill in every couple of days the mediabase forms of my three local Top40 stations, complete music surveys regularly, vote on everything I can, leave comments on my local stations websites, playthe video on MM, etc. And I do it from two different computers with different IPs, one at home and one at work. I disagree that BTIKM is not enough pop, doesn't have a hook, dated production, etc., because I actually listen to Top 40 stations. Last night I completed the Virgin Calgary ratethemusic survey. BTIKM was the second song so after I loved it I listened carefully to the rest of the snippets. Although BTIKM is not my favorite single (FYE is) by Adam, I like it very much. The only few songs that stand out were BTIKM, We found love, Stronger, Set fire to the rain, and that Gotye's song. I am not discouraged by the opinions here that we should give up on the single. I am not giving up until actually RCA releases a new one.

Adam is unique in that he's gay AND he's very sexual AND not at all apologetic about it. It gets right at the "don't shove the gay in my face" meme that hidden homophobes like to use as their excuse. I absolutely think it's a reason, whether they would ever admit it or not, why US radio (much of which is owned by highly conservative conglomerates) doesn't want to go there. I agree. But/And where I'm at and why I don't ever feel TOO bad about anything that isn't 100% positive in Adamland is: Homophobia exists in radio (in the listening audience, in society). It permeates, it frustrates, and worse. But - at the same time - there are also-always folks fighting the good fight (in radio, in the listening audience, in society). Dark/light. Adam deals with that. And, like ALL successful people, he works the angles, makes alliances, forges new connections (he's been doing it all his life, "befriending the cheerleaders," etc.). Radio play is an annoying problem in the big bad world of prejudice. Being denied full civil rights, being unsafe, etc. etc. etc. - much worse. What Adam has ALREADY accomplished is amazing and important in pop culture AND in the lives of actual young people, which IS major. He knows, he doesn't "cry or whine." But he's not satisfied yet. I love BTIKM. To me, it is similar to "Stronger" and Bruno Mars' "Rain" (though I think Mars' lyrics are more intriguing). But, maybe BTIKM isn't IRRESISTIBLE to radio - and of course that's what Adam wants/needs - what EVERY artist wants/needs! And it's hard. (THAT's what I took RCA Ed's cryptic message to mean!) Right now, IMO - nothing is hotter than Rihanna and Chris Brown. Their songs, their story, any collab either of them have with anybody, and - now - collabs with each other! ("Hopeless Place" (Rihanna), "Take Care" (Rihanna and Drake), and "Turn Up the Music" (Chris Brown) - irresistible to radio. Also anything with a really beautiful, plaintive female voice punctuating rap, dance stuff: "Dancing in the Dark" (DEV), "Get Your Ass Back Home" (Gym Class Heroes), "Turn Me On" (Nikki Minaj and Guetta) and "Good Feeling" (Flo Rida). (Oh, and I wish Adam had had Jason Derulo's new song, "I Only Miss You When I'm Breathing.") Because I'm not Adam, I just want for him what he wants for himself. Period. I look at what he has manifested in his life through talent, determination, work, etc. (including finding a relationship that seems to have him over the moon!) and I know I'd put money on it that if it's radio hits he wants, he'll find/make the way. A Bruno Mars' song next makes sense to me, as does Jessie J collab (and seems possible). (I do not think it makes business sense for Rihanna to collab with Adam and I think she's all business. I don't mean that in a bad way. I have a lot of thoughts about Rihanna, whose music I love, whose story interests me, whose choices interest me, etc.) Hope I haven't said anything that's upsetting - not my intention, as pop music, I think, is mostly about fun, diversion, etc.

Despite the competitive feeling these polls bring out in me (on Adam's behalf, not my own), I'm seriously considering ignoring the challenge this time. If he wins, what will it get him? What did winning all those previous polls get him? They just keep putting him up against other performers, and he keeps winning, and where is the airplay for his music? I don't know what to do anymore. Jumping through hoops doesn't seem to have any effect. I'd like to be zen about all this, but it eats at me.

Newly uploaded video from the station. Uploaded by 943ThePoint on Feb 21, 2012 Lou & Liz interview Adam Lambert on the 94.3 The Point Sound Stage. Liz is a total goofy fan girl. She was even making me slightly uncomfortable with her endless fan girl gushing. But how could she help it? He is so beautiful. She's right that his eyes are one of the most amazing features about him. Nice interview. I enjoyed this interview. I love people gushing about Adam. LOL But, after all of the OTT superlatives, this station hasn't added BTIKM. Scratches head.

So glad to live where I do. My radio stations B104 and Q102 support BTIKM and play it regularly! (not as much as kelly or katy, lol but still!) Ditto - cause I live in the same area! :D ETA: Although TBH they're not playing it all that much. BTIKM is (slowly) moving up B104's playlist (from 44 to 27) but WWFM & IIHY were doing much better at this point in time.

Oh, yeah, I also meant to weigh in on songs Adam co-wrote. I think if RCA gets the message that radio thinks it's irresistible, then - great. If not, then - not yet.
