I am SO FUCKING EMBARRASSED by this woman!!! I FEEL Adam feeling awkward!! I mean REEEAAAALYYYYYYY ???????? And the mail interviewer trying to get out some of her embarrassing moments and move forward!! Interview with Adam Lambert on the 94.3 The Point Sound Stage I admire Adam for keeping his cool but he looked really uncomfortable :/ It's strange, though, in the Chart Show TV interview he looked really uncomfortable with the interviewer too, but I thought she seemed really nice and respectful, let him talk, asked good questions, wasn't being creepy to him.. ??? |

Oh wow, I hope nobody is taking offense at me directly. I'm 35! No way do I personally think "Glamberts" are a bunch of crazy middle aged women. But I do know that there is a certain perception in radio that people who are fans of singers off Idol are pushing for spins for their artist while not being actual, active listeners of a station.
I heard this from the mouth of a DJ in Chicago. My family has been friends for years with the family of a morning DJ on WTMX At this point he is more of an aquaintance that I see a couple times a year. I would die of embarassment to ask him anything about Adam (being an Idol fan is so uncool with the people in my real life :(), but he does talk about some of what is happening at his station.
eta--I hope this clarifies things---Radio doesn't care how old you are (obviously they want all the audience they can get), they just care that you actually like pop music and are a regular listener of their station when you are requesting/voting on their station.

I hope someone gets it as I'd love to read it. Yeah, me and everyone else  LOL. I just ordered it, but won't be able to report back for a few days. It looks like it's about 12 pages long, so we'll see how much of it is really about Adam and how much Adam is just the attention grabber for mind-numbing academic rambling.
