Hmm... yes I realize it is tricky. I got this link from @mmyy9 on twitter: www.billboard-japan.com/system/jp_charts/hot100/11-50/It shows #29 as last week's position for BTIKM. #15 as this weeks. Do you think there is a time lag on the US version or is this Japanese site bogus? It's positions for last weeks songs on the chart match the current chart position on the US Billboard Japan page. ETA from wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan_Hot_100"The Japan Hot 100 is a music singles chart in Japan. It is compiled by Billboard and Hanshin Contents Link ever since February 2008.[1] The chart is updated every Wednesday at billboard-japan.com (JST) and every Thursday at billboard.com (UTC)" can I flail yet? ;D

t is funny, and I say this with all due respect, to suggest someone should be careful about projecting their feelings onto Adam. The truth is that everyone here projects their feelings and opinions onto Adam, that is part of the pop star phenomenon. Hopefully everyone can recognize this in themselves and thus not judge someone else for doing it. Because we are all in the opinion, feelings, and projection boat no matter how "logical" a person one thinks one is. Well actually I don't necessarily think that's true. Plus not all projection is equal. I don't understand why on an Adam fan board anyone is surprised that when someone interprets Adam's getting bored with glitter and working to create radio friendly music along with the deeper album cuts he's written as Adam cravenly selling out in pursuit of fame, that people disagree. Vehemently LOL. I know! Well, I for one thank God I am not accusatory, judgemental, and projecting like those awful people who are accusing Adam of greed and cravenly selling out.

www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/celebrity/Rock-Royalty-Rocks-On-139993433.htmlRock Royalty Rocks On Lambert's fronting Queen, Springsteen's moving head without Clemons and McCartney's unstoppable – even if Twitter doesn't know who he is. Source: www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/music/Rock-Royalty-Rocks-On-139993433.html#ixzz1n9U1Q3muThe music of Queen didn't die with Mercury and deserves new live airings, even with only some of its creators. Lambert, a fine performer clearly influenced by Mercury and David Bowie, seems a reasonable choice. But unlike the rock gods of old who paid a very different kind of dues as they made groundbreaking music, Lambert came to prominence on "American Idol," a show, like “The Voice,” where the young singing-star hopefuls often audition with songs that were hits before they were born. This speaks to the enduring power of the popular music of the last six decades, but also to a changing landscape where it can be harder for new music to break through and grab hold. Still, there’s something heartening about generations finding occasional common ground in popular music, which has been more associated in the mass media age with rending generation gaps. Thought I had escaped the credit card fraud inquiries, but got an e-mail today from SEE tics wanting a copy of my credit card statement to prove I'm legit. WTF? They already got their money, Capitol One verified to me that they went ahead and processed it, although they had flagged SEE tics as a possible fraud. Now SEE tics thinks I'm a fraud! Hope others don't run into similar problems.

LOL. I just ordered it, but won't be able to report back for a few days. It looks like it's about 12 pages long, so we'll see how much of it is really about Adam and how much Adam is just the attention grabber for mind-numbing academic rambling. Please include me in your list too, cookie... Thanks Me too, please. Thanks. I sent a PM but it looks like we're posting here.

----------------------- 2) One thing I find helpful is to adjust my own lens. If the big picture is getting me down, I don't worry about it, I celebrate small victories, and work extra hard on my own little piece of geography and requesting there (as well as in larger stations) So some small victories: just this morning during business hours so far: new spinners:
WWWM Star 105.5 Toledo, OH this is a monitored HAC owned by Cumulus! It apparently spun twice today.
WRQX Mix 107.3 Washington, DC HAC, is this one of toby k's stations? are pigs flying?----------------------- Its been a busy RL day, so just getting here now. Haven't finished reading the threads. However, I *would* like to say that Mix 107.3 is an even bigger flying pig than Toby Knapp. Toby is 99.5 and at least periodically acts like an Adam appreciator. Mix 107.3 is Jack Diamond territory. And from what I can tell, Jack Diamond HATES Adam, and has since the AMAs. I remember listenening to Jack rant the day after. He's pretty convervative, and was absolutely disgusted after that performance. The "snorkle", the "kiss", everything threw Jack into full hatred mode, the like which I've never heard him throw at any other performer. Ever. So, yeah, flying pig territory. [goes back to where left off on thread.....]

I would like to read it too.. thanks If this turns out to be incredibly boring academic drivel, I don't want any of you to blame it on me! HAHAHA...I spawned a stampede for you cookie!! sorry.... I personally am well acquainted with 'academic drivel' and often thrive on it but I promise that I will not hold it against you...especially as I am the one that came across it in the first place!!! It is just that authenticity, identity and gender really interest me, in a drivelly sort of way
