I hope he'll be back right away, too. If that's the case, then he must not have COVID. I'm sure he's been tested. Maybe his opting out of the show was a precaution. I'm sure he'll do his best to stay healthy. He doesn't want to miss any shows, that's for sure. And he seemed to feel fine the day before. So disappointing for those who had tickets for that show.

www.reddit.com/r/Broadway/comments/1fx1tk6/liberating_germany_cabaret_revisited/?rdt=46661sausagekngI absolutely LOVED Adam. I didn't see Eddie in the role, but just from the Tony's performance, I'm so happy I saw Adam. He has a big presence on stage and a beautiful voice. I would totally see him in another, more vocally strong role on Broadway. LetsGototheRiver151Just saw it today and thought Adam Lambert was absolutely amazing. He was so in control of what the mood of the audience should be at any given moment. I’ll hope for a role from him in the future when he can unleash the full power of his vocal range. Auli’i was very good as well. I thought the ending was lackluster and was a huge part of the reason why the show hasn’t gotten the love it probably deserves. Other productions I’ve seen make the ending land more. Also Julian Ramos is incredibly weak as Cliff. I would’ve liked to have seen literally anyone else.

I love seeing these reviews from theatre goers that are not Glamberts. Just goes to show Adam really does know what he is doing and it's not just his fan base that thinks so. Says a lot. Also, I gotta say, every time I hear people calling Adam "cute" I shudder - LOL. He is a 42 year old gorgeous, sexy man. Somehow I wouldn't think "cute" would be what he is going for. He does look very young, particulary without makeup and the facial hair, but handsome, beautiful, gorgwous - but "cute" makes me roll my eyes.

I am also thrilled to see so much praise for Adam from non-Glamberts. He is so special, and it is so great to see him seen and heard by a much wider audience. But I'm saddened by the low ticket sales. There shouldn't be any empty seats in that theater. Not one.
