Maybe someone who got one can give you the link to respond to? MyS*&@^#r ... I haven't gotten mine either, and I donated under two different emails ... so I don't think they would have "lost" both of them ... I'm trying to be patient ... but I want my pictures now! :D FYI there is a thread over at ALF regarding the charity water photos and the email. I have a suspicion that they are going out in batches, it might be better to check out the info there before sending off an email. adamlambertfans.com/forum/news_announcements/195231/page/2#post_5167261

Folks, is there anyone else here who is still waiting for the "email" re the picture? I have not received it and I am getting worried. I have no idea where to inquire... me! Ok, then I guess I should wait a bit longer before e-mailing. They probably did not get to everyone.... although I donated quite early on the 29th, well before the site crash... may be they are going in alphabetical last name order - I am "S"... Thank you myspenser for the idea and thank you gelly for the e-mail and laceyrose for the PM.

It's like a glamily reunion ALF doing a redesign competition where you have to buy the 29.29.29 shirt to enter-half a squeee :

Couple of things I'm wondering about: * Will Randy mention Alison? Given the connection. * More important - In a one hour show will there be time for Ryan to interview Adam after the performance? Fitting into that hour (besides Adam) will be: 1.- Diddy mentoring the contestants' fashion, etc. This would probably show him with each of the contestants. 2.- Diddy's performance 3.- Ryan chatting with all the contestants and a "review" of the previous night 4.- The "dim the lights" bit & the result 5.- The unveiling of Cook's new boot song Someone more familiar with the show's format will probably have the answer to my #2 question. Not looking a gift horse in the mouth here! It's all good and I am super excited!! I'd be surprised if Randy is given the opportunity to mention Alisan. As you've laid out, there's a lot to fit into an hour telecast. This isn't about Alisan. Diddy's mentoring segments will be shown during the performance show, not the results shows, so that can be eliminated. However, the other elements will still be included. I don't anticipate much opportunity for Adam to speak - hopefully Ryan's intro will be informative, and will mention the DVD and possibly the acoustic CD. I wouldn't expect that Adam will have much, if any, more time to speak after his performance this time than he did after the WWfM performance. I bet any time he does have will be devoted to The Trevor Project and the charity single; Ryan can pimp the DVD and the acoustic CD, but Adam really needs to be the one to talk about charity angle. I do hope Ryan will interview Adam for his radio show afterward, like he did last time. Ryan's show is syndicated nationwide, and I'd love for Adam to get more opportunity to do some self-promotion (and promotion for the charity single) than he'll get to do on the telecast. Q3, you're right - my terminology was not the best when I said that 19 "loves" Adam. It's nothing personal - although I'm sure TPTB at 19 do like him on a personal level. It's business. What I meant was what you said - they love his sales and, probably more importantly, his potential. They also have to love the buzz he attracts, particularly when it can benefit not only him, but AI as well. He received a coveted performance slot, even without new music, because an Adam appearance is news. Smart of Adam to have a DVD and charity single on the table to provide a convenient and plausible excuse to bring him back - very much preferable to, say, Cook's appearance last season to sing a Rolling Stones song, or Archie's to sing "Imagine" yet again. At least Adam has the opportunity to promote his own music.

Q3 and NoAngel Love what you wrote, as always!..... and it reminds me of an autostraddle article.... "Ultimately though; it’s not the boy-kissing and theatrics and genderf*ckery that makes Adam’s performances so meaningful for his fans. That’s just part of it. The other part, I think, is that when Adam struts up to the edge of the stage and gushes, “you’re all gorgeous, and beautiful,” you believe him because he’s looking at you when he says it. And somewhere in that crowd is an awkward, lonely, singing/dancing kid (or his Mom) like the kid Adam Mitchell Lambert used to be, who for one moment realizes that he is, really, gorgeous, beautiful, and definitely not alone." I love Adam. I love his heart and I love the heart of his fans. I love the compassion and empathy I see here in Adamtopia. I love the way Adam's fans support Adam, his sexuality and his beautiful heart. I love that Adam's fans have set him free to help heal so many more than he would have been able to otherwise. I love you Adamtopians, for real. Skylar, the only reason I've cut some words out is to not take up too much space. I absolutely love how you've found so many memorable treasures here. I so much want to be able to share this with someone near to me, but it just isn't about to happen, so I'll squee about it here. I adore all of this and will save it to re-read again and again.

I've only three words, WOW and Thank You I love Adam but it's the funny, creative, passionate people that are his fans that mean just as much to me. NoAngel, could you put your essays in their own thread so that we can find them to reread? Today's was your best effort yet. Yes, please!

Oh ya! It was one hour last year and Ryan did a very nice interview! I thought it was a 2 hour show? Results nights are one hour. Some weeks, they have even fit 3 guest performances into the hour!

It has been a "Right click save, right click save, right click save" day at ATOP. Thank you everyone, esp. NoAngel and Skylar.
OT, now, I don’t post much, but, I do lot of saving. Re Q3‘s question about Halfie, I have just posted one of my early Halfie favorites in the Inspired by Adam:: Words of Wisdom, Inspiration, and Beauty thread. One quote: “If it’s true that sexy is sexy, then it’s just as true that manly is manly.” Is this the right place?

ETA: Oops, Halfie’s post should have gone into “Old Planet Fierce Articles...”
