Is Diddy-Dirty Money any relation to P. Diddy? Doesn't he have dibs on diddyness? The group is composed of founder, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper. Sklar Grey is featured on their most recent single (beautiful vocal IMO). Sean was originally Puff Daddy, then P. Diddy, then Diddy and now he is Sean "Diddy" Combs. He is extremely successful and made Fortune's "40 Richest People Under 40" in 2002. He has made a lot on his clothing and is a featured designer line for Macy's. (I am interested in his styling take on Idol.) His last album was a disappointment in terms of sales. But "Coming Home" (with Dirty Money featuring Skylar Grey) is his most successful single since 2006. His musical peak was his debut in 1997. |

AWWW, NOANGEL!Did that almost 30 yrs ago. Although it was a very painful experience at the time, I wouldn't have the life I do today with my current dh, which is so much betterer! Be strong, and don't look back.

There is 0% chance that RCA will buy an ad during Idol for the DVD+CD. The DVD+CD include Acoustic Aftermath which is what Adam will be performing. And I expect that GNT footage may be in a video package for Adam -- if he gets one. We'll see on Thursday.
The average cost of a commercial on the AI Results show is $400,546 this year. That means they would have to sell an additional 50,000 units to pay for the spot. 50,000 units is a Gold DVD in the US -- not possible to do that.
The appearance is worth much more than a paid commercial spot anyway -- because people will watch it.

Ooh, I wanna play the prediction game, too! Here are my thoughts: 1) Adam will wear 3 necklaces!  2) He will have emo-ish hair and a sexy/hippy outfit. Maybe something like the outfit he wore on Ellen when he performed IIHY. He will have bare feet (okay, this is totally me wishful thinking, but it'd be cool, yeah?) 3) There will be no dancers, just Adam front and center and Monte nearby. 4) There will be fog (close to the ground like the finale MW) that gradually clears away. The lighting will be subtle and focused on Adam, like a pale-white spotlight. He will walk out from the back of the stage and sing standing rather than on a stool. 5) The arrangement will be similar to Acoustic Live, but more wistful/solemn at the beginning, building to a more hopeful tone by the middle. The vocals will be breathtakingly brilliant. 6) Behind Adam on the screen there will be images that illustrate the message of the song-- people looking alone and sad at the beginning, then doing brave things (standing on a diving board, idk, LOL), and then connecting. Images of diverse people (including same-sex couples) holding hands and smiling. And my biggest prediction: 7) None of the above will happen, and it'll be freakin' awesome and I'll love it!  |

I am betting that those leopard boots stay in the closet on Thursday.
I am I sticking with my one necklace. OK maybe something small I can see right now, but one that shows up on TV.
Adam likes to change it up -- and he always adds something new to a performance. I think it will be a variation of the GNT Aftermath but he will speed it up, not slow it down. (Cause he slowed down WWFM on Idol.) So I am adding a prediction -- Fast Acoustic Aftermath -- and Monte gets to keep his nice guitar spotlight at the end -- the 3 chord fast repeat they did on tour.
NoAngel -- I love the barefoot, neo-hippy image -- but I think modern rocker Adam will show up. Idol crowd pleasing rocker look, and leather pants would be great. (My little dream.)
