Why does everyone always contribute the worst actions/motivations to everyone who is not Adam? This was in response to a few tweeters, not the whole audience, for cryin' out loud!
Q3 comment: Let's not be so broad in general -- "everyone" can't do anything. And if some Members interpreted that Nigel was talking about the audience that is their opinion not everyone's opinion -- and they have the right to post that opinion. But Nigel tweeted it to the Twitterverse, he did not DT it to the tweeted who are pushing conspiracy theories. Most people will just see Nigel's Tweet and not all of the tweets he received.
ETA: Oops, you are right Q3, I should narrow my brush considerably ... unwarranted pile-ons just irritate me, but I still need to learn to count to 10 before I post ... :-[
Q3 comment: Don't we all need to do that once in a while.

And of course nobody remembered (talked about) who got voted off that night!!  I sure don't remember who got eliminated - just how non-professional and sadsack they all looked in their "street clothes". Adam's performance and appearance just emphasized how exciting they *weren't*!! LOL It was Katie Stevens who was eliminated.....but I only know that because I just checked to see if Adam was the last performance ;D ;D |

* More important - In a one hour show will there be time for Ryan to interview Adam after the performance? Fitting into that hour (besides Adam) will be: 1.- Diddy mentoring the contestants' fashion, etc. This would probably show him with each of the contestants. 2.- Diddy's performance 3.- Ryan chatting with all the contestants and a "review" of the previous night 4.- The "dim the lights" bit & the result 5.- The unveiling of Cook's new boot song I thnk someone already answered that the mentoring stuff would be part of the previous day's performance show. I don't think #5 actually takes ANY time - I don't remember them "unveiling" the boot song in season 8 (only one I watched.) I think they just play it as they show the final video thing and everyone hugs the one going home. I don't even remember them saying the name of the song or who was singing it. The will be tons of time for Adam -- they have an hour. Usually goes something like this..... 1. Intro, useless chatter, promo sponsors in show. 2. First safe contestants named. 3. Performance #1 -- my prediction is Diddy-Dirty Money with Skylar Grey Perform first -- unless they have a new single to announce -- Coming Home -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-ImCpNqbJwThis song premiered on 10/31/11, hit #12 on US Billboard Hot 100, peaked at #34 on Billboard Radio chart. Their biggest hit ever, but it is headed down the chart. 4. Second group of contestants sent to safety. 5. Useless chatter. 6. Small number of people left on hot seat. Including at least one favorite. What do the judges think? Who should go?? 6. Ryan introduces Adam, he performs, Adam talks to Ryan. 7. Announce who goes home. Not even really sure what to say in response to everyone's heartfelt words today, other than-- you all truly are beautiful!!!   Kapsiz, I applaud your bravery in taking a step you felt was right for you, and for sharing it with us. Wishing you strength on your journey! LindaG23... {{{hugs}}} Skylar, your post is amazing! You totally made me cry with your words. And Chasingeden, the story of the aspens is awesome! This place is truly a special community, and the fact that Aftermath resonates with so many of us, despite our varied backgrounds and life situations, is testament to its power as an anthem. Some of you here know that I am going through a divorce, and it is both the hardest and also the most empowering thing I've done in my life. And through it, I know that "I am not alone" because I have so much joy and friendship in my life, of which you all here are a significant part. Thank you!  |
