Noangel - Another beautiful post. I love your insight. Q3 I love your predictions. Kapsiz you are beautiful!! I have cued up that Idol interview to show my husband. He is a great Dr Who fan. Anything to get him on "TeamAdam". I jst discovered that Dishnetwork is in a rate dispute with the local network provider and the local network provider has blocked our viewing ability. This includes Fox. I am so upset. >:( I have called Dish but they give a recorded message that trhey are in negotiations. I have called Fox but their voice mail is full. Hopefully they will get this resolved before Thursday.  >:( I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! It's so frustrating when you can't see Adam! I'm still majorly pissed that I didn't get to see him in his last Ellen appearance because our local network preempted it for a press conference to announce the retirement of Jazz coach Jerry Sloan. I saw the interview and performance online, but it's not the same! Thank goodness for the Internet, though. |

Noangel - beautiful article today - agree it should be posted somewhere for more exposure. Also, thanks for re-posting the Ellen If I Had You performance - that was such a happy one and he looked so CUTE that day! Q3 - love your predictions - hope they all come true! I know I will be checking twitter before I watch on the West Coast - I'll be so nervous and excited I'll want to hear a few tidbits before it airs here - but don't want to watch a live feed - I'm weird I guess. kapsiz Congrats on taking steps to improve your life! I do believe I remember your mood:- "the stupid head coach of the stupid Utah Jazz is having a stupid press conference to announce his stupid resignation at 3:00, which is when Ellen comes on here. I'm thinking I still have a shot at seeing Adam if he's on in the second half. So I FINALLY caught up with this thread.What an emotional rollercoaster ride it's been. NoAngel I loved you essay.You really outdid yourself.So many have articulated my thoughts perfectly so I don't have a lot to add.I agree, for me this is "A Change Has Come" kind of moment.Here's an international grammy nominated gay star singing an anthem of liberation and acceptance on American Idol.It makes me  And a small part of me wants Adam to be as theatrical as he wants (and I secretly hope Simon will see it ;D). I have a RL Facebook that I don't use much, but have a fair amount of "friends" that are all more active posters than I am. I recently put up that Sleepwalker Vevo video. 0 comments. 0 "Likes." Zippo. Nada. Another person put up that cover by David Cooke that will be featured on Idol. Oodles of comments and "Likes." : : : I think I need new "friends."  Don't worry about it. Your post may not even have ended up in their feed. IIRC, you have to manually select to have all of your friends's posts show up in your feed and not all of your friends may have done it. FB's feed doesn't work like Twitter. Different weight is given different postings and FB tends to feed you updates from people with whom you interact with most. Maybe you need new friends or maybe most people simply saw the DC post. I love showing people clips of Blackadder just so they can see how absolutely versatile Hugh Laurie is. I've grown to hate House but still love him. |
