Did that NME interviewer seem kind of antagonistic towards Adam? Like he was kind of being a dick with some of the questions IMO. Adam handled it beautifully but they guy seemed to come shy of coming right out and saying you have no business singing with Queen I actually didn't read into the interview's feeling, but he did ask lots of questions that Queen fans and others have been batting back and forth. So for me, I'm actually a little grateful that someone took the time to ask those questions of him so that he could be the one to answer them rather than folks projecting what they think he should/would say. oh yeah didn't even think of it like that. It is good that he got the chance to address it directly.

www.entertainmentwise.com/news/70417/Adam-Lambert-Wants-To-Peform-Bohemian-Rhapsody-With-QueenAdam Lambert Wants To Peform 'Bohemian Rhapsody' With QueenAs he admits frontman slot is not permanent... Adam Lambert has said that his upcoming Sonisphere festival appearance with Queen is a 'one off' but admitted he can't wait to perform with the band. Lambert will perform with Queen at the UK festival in July, stepping in for the late singer Freddie Mercury. Adam is more than aware of Mercury's legacy though and says he would never do anything to step on his iconic toes. "I’m not trying too imitate him or outdo him or compete in any way, that’s not even in my mind at all, I think its really an honour to be asked to sing the music that the and the ban wrote and get up there and put on a good show. If people are too busy trying to compare they’re not going to enjoy the music,” Lambert said in an interview with NME. Asked if he is the new, full time Queen frontman, Adam said not. "It’s really a one-off experience with the band, and I’m really excited for it. But I’m not joining the band and touring with them.” Yesterday we heard from Queen's Brian May who backed Adam to be a huge success in his new role.

They are old and they have more money than God- I think living out of suitcases for even a short time is so ''been there done that" for them that they just don't want to do it. I feel as if their primary focus is to keep the music out there what with We Will Rock You and the Queen Extravaganza project and, if we get really lucky, a very few carefully chosen appearances that garner maximum press. But nothing even approximating any sort of "tour" no matter how mini. Sadly, I'm not holding my breath for anything in the US. If it happens it will be a great surprise but I think even wishing for it is a recipe for disappointment.
