On a lighter note - Is this a pic of Light & Dark Adam or Sauli & Adam?

The pod cast (metal hammer?) was really interesting. I think they underestimate Adam. I usually side on caution, but I really think he is going to surprise a lot of people. They did make a good point about how the band needs to be selective about the type of songs they select for the festival. I think Adam is going to surprise a lot of people. It's not a bad thing really that some are apprehensive or curious about the whole thing, imo. It's also not a bad thing that expectations are on the 'lower' side .. less pressure for Adam Like Koshka, I also do think the set list is very important; it has to fit Sonisphere, showcase Queen, and showcase Adam. I think it will be more rock. Rock Adam is sexy Adam. He does indeed have balls of steel. Although it's a beautifully surreal gig, it's also a rather tricky gig. Some people will be blown away and some might not appreciate it one bit. But I know lots will be rather curious about him. It's this curiosity and what might manifest from it that I am most eager to see. The reactions to Adam with Queen will probably cover the same range as the music tastes of the Top 20. We marvel at those who choose Beiber lip-synching Mistletoe over Adam singing anything live and beautifully. We wonder why PDs choose the inane songs they do and resist Adam. There really is no explanation except that some people will not let go of preconceived opinions no matter the amount of proof to the contrary. It's puzzling and will never change, so we have to take a deep breath and accept it, all the while knowing they don't know what they are missing when they fail to appreciate Adam's chameleon-like talent. Their loss.

Most people, like the other guy on the podcast pointed out, will be in that audience that night because they want to experience those songs - either again, for the first time, and maybe for the last time - in that setting. Adam might not "win over" some SUPER-purists, but everyone else is in for an amazing time. And, YAY - BTIKM in at 30!! (Which station was it that the DJ seemed to promise in a tweet was gonna start spinning the song soon?)

Nine Inch Nails - Closer (Director's Cut)ETA ICK! Sorry, Adam. Sexy, is not the first thing that comes to mind. Maybe, it's a guy thing? I love that song and thing it's very sexy but I really love alternative music. Did Adam mention this song somewhere? I was thinking of that little monkey in the video. I don't remember ever seeing the Closer video before today. Those metal guys on that podcast are complete jackwagons LOL.... I really hate music snobs. I was loling at their excited girly reactions to KISS.... those are the guys who lip synced and I'm pretty sure didn't even play their instruments live on the AI8 finale (check out Paul Stanley when he falls forward while supposedly ripping on the guitar LOL). I also remember Adam's quip about Gene's "Live guitar playing" on the idoltary interview. irony is them wetting themselves over The Darkness while Justin Hawkins is wetting himself over hearing Adam sing with Queen. LOL. Too true! And I'm guessing that Adam is the only one performing at Sonisphere who has already worked with Queen, KISS and Justin Hawkins. Pretty impressive for a guy who doesn't have enough "rock cred". ;D
