I appreciated what you wrote, skylar. It wasn't a criticism of Brian, just noting that there is a psychology behind setting people's expectations. I remember a political debate years back where, prior to the debate, one candidate bragged that he was the world's greatest debater and was going to mope the floor with his opponent. The other candidate said aw shucks, I just hope to do well. Guess which one was perceived to have "won"? The aw shucks guy could hardly help but win, because all he had to do was hold his own and he exceeded expectations. Adam did a great job of setting expectations in his interview. I wonder if there are cultural differences here too. Maybe Americans tend to try to come off as more humble, just plain folks, while British people have a tougher edge and that's what's expected. Just a thought. Hi Juniemoon! : ) Love the "Aw shucks" guy : ) Adam is extremely emotionally intelligent. It is truly one of his talents. Interesting thought about culture. Cultural differences in the expression of emotion, stoicism, and humility fascinate me. My cousins are British and quite conservative and they usually come across as far more humble than Americans. They (my cousins) tend to see Americans as overly expressive and often boastful. But I try to be careful about generalizing. There are so many cultures within the main British and the main U.S. cultures.

I was reading a message board not long ago about a famous Texas athlete and people were trashing him -- "oh, he's so arrogant!" I was flabbergasted because the guy in question was considered pretty humble around here!

Yesterdays thread: Have enough fun for all of us living vicariously through you- all we ask is a recap when you get home!! Yep. And you Butterfly, you could have an info meeting in Helsinki for us other Finnish Atopians , where you could tell us everything you experienced. ;D Maybe Sauli is in Finland too at the same time and we could try to get him with us. He is a huge Adam fan too. : bobo....and I arranged a photo exhibition and show videos...I've also heard, that Sauli is a big fan of Adam, so I'm pretty sure that he too will join us. And perhaps I could bring with me Brian May and Paul Rogers too...! ;D

HAHA!! If some heavy metal dude throws a bottle of pee at Adam, he will probably get beaten-up by a bunch of Glamfans!! That's right and I will gladly leap from my grandstand seat and throw myself on stage to deflect any incoming pee bottles! I have no words for how much I love this quote. It must be put somewhere special.

LOL. Too true! And I'm guessing that Adam is the only one performing at Sonisphere who has already worked with Queen, KISS and Justin Hawkins. Pretty impressive for a guy who doesn't have enough "rock cred". ;D Love both these comments! THIS /\/\/\/\
