If you live anywhere in the New England area please do the Kiss 108 Rate the music. ratethemusic.com/signup.cgi/wxks?rtmref= As you all know Boston is a top 10 market and Kiss is Boston's biggest top40 station by far. Better Than I Know Myself is one of the songs to be rated. It's Kiss's own private RTM. Make sure you are in theirs and not the national one. If you are asked if you are familiar with a song then you are in the wrong one. Thanks for bringing this over! Thank you! Will do!

Sounds like Sauli will be at the Oscar gala on Sunday, wonder who is he going to be with? www.saulikoskinen.net/2012/02/peurat-ja-oscarit/Sunnuntaina täällä järjestetään Oscar-gaala Kodak-teatterissa. Koko Hollywood boulevard on suljettu jo viisi päivää sitten valmistelujen takia, joka on aiheuttanut aikamoiset ruuhkat kaupungissa. Itse meinaan seurata gaalaa, mutta en kotisohvalta. On Sunday there will be Oscal Gala at the Kodak theater here. The whole Hollywood boulevard has been closed already five days ago for preparations. And that has caused quite a rush in the city. I will follow the Oscar Gala , but not from the home couch. ETA: twitter is saying that also there are plenty of parties to go to, like Elton John party, so maybe not the gala they will attend, but a party

Sorry, but I don't see anything wrong with what Brian said. If he said that the performance would "definitely" equal (or surpass) their last concert with Freddie, then I would be worried. But Brian said he "hoped" that they could do as well, and even went on to say that it would be a big challenge: “Adam Lambert is a phenomenal singer and the sound is amazing at Sonisphere. We hope to reach the greatness of Freddie’s last gig there. It’s a challenge but then again that’s life.”Also, don't forget Brian is promoting a gig for Queen. What should Brian have said ... something like "we know it will never equal what we did with Freddie, but what the hell we're gonna do it anyway. So, come on out and pay to see a less-than-memorable show."? LOL. And as far as mentioning Freddie at all, I don't think Brian and Roger have a choice. A lot of Queen fans are aware of the connection to Knebworth and that 1986 concert, so the questions were bound to come up. I don't think dodging the issue is an option. So, under the circumstances his comments make sense IMHO. Thanks for your response! : ) Of course they have to bring up Freddie! That goes without saying : ) I think it would have been better to say something on the order of... "The greatness of Freddie's last gig at Knebworth will never be forgotten and most certainly never by us. We could only return to Knebworth with someone we felt was the right person. Adam Lambert is an extremely talented singer, someone that Freddie would have loved and approve of (as they have said perfectly on other occasions) We are very excited about the possibilities presented by this collaboration. The Knebworth concert with Freddie was amazing, one of a kind, never to be forgotten. We feel this concert will be special on two levels; on one level, of course, as a tribute and on another level, as a new interpretation of our music with a new artist collaborator." or something like that... Everything Brian May has said other than that one sentence has been fantastic. I was surprised by that one sentence because Brian is so smart, articulate, and careful about what he says. So, it is not that I am worried. It is quite possible that he was misquoted anyway. So, it is not that I am stressed out. You have to remember though, that Brian is completely enamored by Adam's voice. In that blog that he wrote, where he said that Adam's voice reached out with sensitivity and depth etc., didn't he also say that Adam's voice turns him in to complete jelly, and that he heard amazing male voices before, but none that touches him like Adam's? Or some completely fanboy comment as that. ETA: "I'm not easily moved to jelly by male vocalists ... but Adam's voice reaches out with sensitivity, depth, maturity, and awesome range and power which will make jaws drop all around the world. It's an awesome performance. No doubt about it. The world of Rock has a bright new star."
