Thank you  I'm hoping that he sings this song on AI around the end of March/beginning of April, presumably when the new album date is set. And hopes that this can sell anywhere from 20-100k depending on where it's at on the chart at the time, and then move on to next single! Might not be a good plan though, lol. |

Finally listened to VOL. Don't like it. Don't hate it either because I feel no emotion at all about it. Quite forgettable. The only thing I like is the beat.  And I agree that his sound is SO Script-ish. Don't know if it's on purpose or not. The other thing is - I do.not.care for his voice so I guess I'm not very objective. What I dislike usually becomes a hit, so I have no clue how this will do on either HAC or CHR. And yay for BTIKM on its slow but persistent climb! |

I really wonder what's the sales are like for BTIKM. Back then in the beginning, when it was out of the Top 1000's on Itunes, it sold like 2000. I wonder if by it being in the Top 1000's now, if it has been selling around 1000-2000 steadily for these last few weeks. And if it has, it's numbers should be around 80000-90000 now right? |

Looking at the Mediabase list, even BTIKM keeps gaining 30-40 spins like it has been, it seems that it might pass Nickelbeck's Lullaby and Matt Nathanson's Run song soon as they're at 802 and 886 respectively, to BTIKM 767, and they don't seem to be gaining as fast.

I am confused here, and not trying to be confrontational so don't get me wrong but....do you listen to pop radio? Like....at all? I just listened to Kris' new single---and not the dance remix that surfaced by the way--but the actual single single and there is nothing remotely current about it for CHR radio. There is NO WAY that song could compete in the CHR landscape of Riri and Katy and LMFAO and all the other power players. Hell it can't even compete with Bruno Mars stuff. If anything that song is MORE HAC then BTIKM. And the production is cheap as hell. I say this not to bash Kris---I don't have any problem with him at all and wish him well--but coming from a place where I listen to pop radio almost every day. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eipYjJgltgcThis is his song. This would have an even harder time fitting in on CHR radio than BTIKM and I just don't get what you are getting at about this tbh. BTIKM has modern Dr. Luke/Claude Kelly production while this song just....doesn't. Sorry I am totally mystified. Wow! That was....underwhelming. This is the song the NAL fans are raving about????? Bless his little heart.  I can only listened for less than 30 second.. I just cannot stand his voice... :-/ |
