Tigerlily, I think it means that they are watching the song. If it can get in the low 20's on the HAC chart, I think there will be certain stations that will finally add. Or, it could be something like what mys*&@^#r said Or, actually what you said makes more sense!

I think mys*&@^#r may be onto something. If CHR stations know that a new (and more upbeat) single is coming, they are not going to bother adding BTIKM at this point.

I don't care if Bruno's song beats out Cuckoo or whatever--I just hope that is is GOOD. And that it smashes and lays the groundwork for future singles to smash as well/have an easier time on radio.
I may be in the minority here as far as I've seen, but I actually LIKED the Bruno demo. Yeah the production needed to be better but it was just a demo and IMO it had lots of potential at least. Guess we'll see!
I wonder if he ever nailed that fingers crossed vocal collab?

I was just feeling bad that Adam is so proud of his songs and he mentioned he wanted Cuckoo for the first single, everyone who hears it loves it, can't get it out of their heads, but RCA keeps using other songs.

Ugh yeah. In that respect I hope it's that too. It's just that with RCA's history of playing it safe I dunno if I can see them going with that. Although the fact that they are gonna have a different "first" single in the UK kinda tells me that at least MAYBE RCA is gonna be a little smarter from now on. In a perfect world tho I would def want one of his "own" songs, but at this point I will take something that is a surefire smash. Let him smash, sell those albums, and then he has more leeway with his other songs. I really hope if it is Bruno they made it AMAZEBALLS.

I think the UK is Sony and they seem to be more adventuresome than just RCA. For instance Sony, around the world, released 3rd and 4th singles from FYE! I guess I just haven't ever seen RCA do anything amazing, so I am always skeptical of them!

Wait so you think they would release a different single so that there was say, Cuckoo for example being out in the U at the same time that say, Bruno's track was out here? That seems like it would be complicated...or would it? IDK....do lables ever do this? Or do you think they would just stick to one single for both US and UK?

Last time there were different singles in different countries. For example, NZ got Fever as their 3rd single. And many countries never got FYE. But some got FYE even after it got pulled here. And, it did quite well. So, "yes" I could see the UK getting a different single. Not saying they will, but it could happen. Especially considering how much they all loved Cuckoo and Trespassing
