You guys just broke 65K!!!! I have a cold and am cranky but also have all the water to make tea and hot showers that anyone could want so I'm incredbily fortunate. Thank you all for being feisty cats and generous ones too! Well said! It's so easy to forget how lucky we are. The few times in my life when I haven't had running water--like when it had to be turned off for a plumbing repair--it drove me nuts within an hour. Imagine having a life in which you only have water if you fetch it from a murky stream and carry it home in a bucket. We take so much for granted. I like knowing that we've made a difference in the world through our love for Adam. More Donations Welcome!

About Tommy: I have nothing against him, it's some of his "fans" that I don't like. Whether or not he will be part of Adam's band in the future makes no difference to me. He's sweet but not irreplaceable. Dynamics and loyalty of the team is important to Adam. He needs that to be in balance, happy and productive. Tommy seems to be important to that feeling, and thus not easily replaceable, I think. I'm surprised with the Tommy discussion here. Nevertheless, I agree with leenaseyez . I have nothing new to add :-/ apart that I would be very, very sorry if they ended their professional collaboration. Adam parted ways with Monte after so many years and all I had to say was Good riddance because I never thought and felt that Monte shared Adam's artistic vision. Which I think Tommy does.

www.hertsad.co.uk/what-s-on/queen_back_at_knebworth_1_1225248Queen back at Knebworth The band who played their last gig with Freddie Mercury at Knebworth 26 years ago in front of 120,000 fans will be back on Saturday July 7 as part of the three day international touring metal and rock event. Mercury, the band’s flamboyant lead singer died five years after the mammoth Knebworth show. The gig will be a one-off with former American Idol star Adam Lambert taking on the lead vocals. Lambert performed We Are The Champions with the band during the talent show in 2009. Guitarist Brian May said the response to the decision has been positive. “Judging by my incoming mail, this decision will make a lot of people very happy. “It’s a worthy challenge for us, and I’m sure Adam would meet with Freddie’s approval. more

WOW!!!! So excited...just got tickets for i93 Dallas show with Adam on Monday. I've never won anything and this is the best "win" ever. So proud of ATOP and the charity:water drive. This is the best, most generous group of people anywhere. Adam's light and love is reinforced through his fans here. barbaraindallas

The Russian Government is trying to pass a bill according to which it is a crime to read, speak, write... anything GAY. (!) This is horrible at any time, but especially in the wake of Adam's performance in Moscow. If you've already seen this, I'll delete

Yea I heard the same thing. They made it clear that he will be in the studio on Tuesday. Not sure if it is just an interview or if he will be performing - No mention of performing yet, but it would cut it pretty close to making it to Houston the same day if a performance in Houston is in the afternoon. I was sorta surprised that Kidd's show on 106.1 did not initially seem to be part of Adam's promo tour since they interviewed him last time during his GNT tour. J-Si that is on the show went to Mt Carmel with Adam. I think he is about 3 years younger. He is a big supporter of Adam. I love Kidd and listen to his show but I wasn't surprised that KISS 106.1 was not part of the initial promo plans. I have a feeling Kidd heard Adam was going to be in town and went after the interview. Adam is scheduled to do a M & G and performance at KISS' sister station, MIX 102.9 and at the CHR Cumulus station, i93. Even though Kidd really likes Adam, 106.1 has NEVER been supportive of Adam. They played WWFM sparingly when it was out, dropped it from their playlist early and only added IIHY when he visited their station during GNT, as it was peaking. They played it a couple of times/day and dropped it after 2 weeks. Kidd doesn't have any input into their playlist, mostly his show is a talk show. But, it is syndicated so Adam's interview would be heard in other cities. Billy The Kidd is the evening drive time DJ and he is the music director and is a huge hip hop/urban music fan and that reflects in their playlist. I get why RCA was concentrating on the stations in Dallas that are more receptive to him and still play his music. Adam's past promo with this station, which has only been due to Kidd's efforts to have him on, have yielded poor results/exposure in the past. As far as JSi, he and Adam didn't know one another in high school. JSi said he remembered Adam because he sang at school events but Adam told him he didn't recognize him when he met him.

For me Adam is solo artist. The band is merely background - I don't care about them.

No you make sense...and God I would loove this to be their strategy but.....IDK. Interscope is a whole different animal...o we rlly think RCA has the balls and the ability to do this? I mean they seem to be the complete opposite in a lot of respects. Don't get me wrong I WANT him to have daring singles and to push boundaries and be accepted by radio the way they eventually accepted Gaga....I just dunno if I can see RCA wanting that...but who knows. Yea, RCA is pretty backasswards towards doing things, I just hope they don't muck this up, but in the very beginning they did seem to be very on the ball on this project, so I still have my hopes up. I agree RCA has no balls and tries very hard to make its artists generic and palatable to everyone. They simply refuse to be daring and risky-taking which explains Kelly and Adam's lead singles which enjoyable nevertheless sounds like everything else on radio.
