Random Question but Charity Water related. I have a copy of the 2010? edition of VMAN with Adam pics - some Jonas on the cover. It's still in the wrap - I just never got around to opening it. I'm not usually a collector. I don't want to go through the hassle of eBay or similar. Would offering this somehow result in a donation do you think? (My brain is mush today and I have to go to dr soonish but welcome any feedback/ideas.) Didn't someone do something similar to this last year? My memory is fuzzy but it seems to me that people had some sort of raffle going--does anyone recall? How exactly did it work? It seems to me it would be a great idea if the details can be worked out.

That article sounds totally like something Chris Sligh would write. A little harsh, a little ego. He is something of an "Idol Know-it-all"
eta--ok, it could also be Chris Daughtry

No way! Not Adam! He wouldn't say that about Simon or use the example of Led Zeppelin. Nothing about this sounds like Adam to me! I don't know. I think a few comments such as these, made me think that it maybe was Adam. That said, I've always thought of Idol having a secondary purpose as a sort of music-education hour. With fewer schools able to afford music programs, a lot of kids -- and those in the key demo -- don't understand where the music they're listening to came from and from what it borrows. They probably know Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Otis" but might never have heard of Otis Redding. In that sense, maybe skewing older isn't such a bad thing. He (Simon Cowell) obviously knew the show, and I listened to him in that respect, but it's a lot different when you're taking criticism from a Steven Tyler -- if he were to offer any. And there's the problem: Everybody needs support, but the harsh reality is, if these acts want to be in this business, they're going to have to get a few lashings. To regain credibility, Idol needs critical feedback from the judges and critiques that are spot-on.But after reading it again, yeah maybe it's not Adam. It sounds a little too harsh in some areas. Sounds more like Chris Daughtry to me personally.

The mention of Steven Tyler leads me to believe its not Adam. Tyler was never a judge to Adam. I dunno, it doesn't necessarily read like the "mystery person" WAS judged by Steven...could be from any season. The only thing I thought might indicate it wasn't Adam was the "berating" business. Was Adam ever berated? Even when the judges (Simon) tried to give negative feedback - it was hardly "berating". Do you think it could be that goofy Chris whateverhislastname was? He seemed to love giving AI advice. LOL! mika.....lovely idea. Perhaps offering it as an incentive - ie: the next 10 (or whatever) donations will be entered into a draw for the magazine? I dunno. Totally agree, durberville... sounds like Chris Sligh plus Adam will never hide as Anonymous - not AFL's style

I've never read anything Daughtry wrote, but I agree with those who say it sounds like Chris Sligh. He's always spouting off as if he knows all there is to know.
