New here - my first post - mainly in response to nattygirl's post. I' m also hearing impaired, having lost most of my hearing quite suddenly a few years ago. What was most difficult for me to resolve was music. Had to work on it, but now I can attend Mozart operas and Adam concerts. Adam's beautiful voice just cuts through all the extraneous noises. Nattygirl - have a great time at Sonsiphere - I'm with you in spirit! WELCOME!!!

yes! Reminds me to post a daily LOCAL Request reminder[/size] ;D Also this Top 40 station is slowing down considerably: KUDD-FM Salt Lake City, so if you are in the area, request request!requestadamlambert.com/in the top bar here you can find: stations currently playing BTIKM (request daily) US and Canada Top 40 and HAC (request 2-3x a wk if not playing) International (request in your home country, very important!) Thanks everyone! This makes a difference and helps both this single, and positively impacts radio being receptive to further singles from Adam down the road.ETA: oops I see I'm repeating. As to the question of when you feel like you are the only fan requesting: a) you probably aren't b) I vary how I request, mediabase, text, phone, email, tweet. Also I sometimes request 'for' my husband too (he said it was ok and is an Adam fan too ). So I might mediabase request for myself, and email request for my husband using his name on the same day, IYKWIM? c) Also, I always request other songs too on mediabase, usually not ones currently in competition with him though.

Glad it was not just me. I guess the play on words of "Drama Queen" was too much for the editor to pass on. But maybe it has a different meaning in the UK -- pretty much an insult in the US to call someone a "Drama Queen" -- and Adam is the exact opposite of a Drama Queen -- more applicable to Mirah Carey or Lady Gaga. Isn't that funny... THAT didn't bother me in the least, but little Otis's blog just ticked me off immensely... "I can tell even if he punches someone out once in awhile, he's still a good guy,..." I know the author was just trying to be amusing, but it rubbed me the wrong way. It's interesting, how different things push people's buttons.

I am probably just being too sensitive -- but I find that Marie Clare headline "Drama Queen" a bit offensive. This kind of headline would have really made me mad months ago, but since the interview with Roger and Brian where Adam leans into the microphone and say, "I'm a queen, I'll always be a queen," I've chilled out about it.

I keep seeing that BTIKM is on rate the music but I do not see it on my lists because I get the top 40 list and the Q102 list which I have been rating since the WWFM era. Is there a way to change it so I get the HAC list? Here's a few useful hints from RequestAdam about rating on Hit Predictor and Rate the Music: "Rate the Music There are three components to this survey: familiarity with song (yes or no), scoring the song (pick from five selections) and if you are tired of hearing it (yes or no). As is the case on any survey, you will stick out like a sore thumb if you only score Adam’s music highly. So the ”Like Alot” and “Like Some” should be used at least a couple other times. If you are unfamiliar with a song, you can say so (by clicking “no” to familiarity) and then hit play to listen to it. You can still score it. It will automatically fill in “no” to whether you are tired of hearing that song. *IMPORTANT: Right now, not many more people other than Glamberts have heard BTIKM alot. Therefore, if it has not been played much or at all on your local station, feel free to click “no” when asked about familiarity to it. Then go ahead and score BTIKM."
