Thank you for the warm welcome! I like the warmth, friendliness, and positivity of this fan community.
How did I come to Adam? Well, I didn't follow AI that much and only came upon Adam at the end when he performed with Kiss and Queen. My son has a friend that worked with Adam in Wicked, and like Adam as an understudy and member of the ensemble. My son's friend said that Adam was a great guy - creative, humble, down to earth, funny, and just a great guy to be around - all the things we now know about him. I first saw Adam at Gridlock and was blown away his singing, his showmanship, and the raw energy and electricity of that performance - you couldn't help but get caught up with his excitement that night - that's what sent me "down the rabbit hole"!

VH1 Music @vh1music Hey #Glamberts, were you excited to see @adamlambert's "Better Than I Know Myself" debut at #17 on the #VH1Top20 Countdown this weekend?! Of course we are. Are they just playing with the Adam fans now? I'm getting closer with the radio contest in Portland...#6 caller out of 9. Only get one shot with my rotary phone. I'm not sure exactly why, but this whole Skins and Stones key thing bothers me. I had planned to purchase from Pennyroyal, because I liked the fact that a portion of the purchase price would have gone to one of Adam's charities. But Skins and Stones is doing this purely for profit ... which they certainly have a right to do because Hans owns the design, but it just feels icky to me that they are capitalizing on Adam's name for profit, without giving anything back. We know they wouldn't sell hardly any of these if Adam didn't have the tattoo. >:( |
