Well, IMO, 8 adds is a lot better than no adds. ITunes sales are up. BTIKM is slowly, but steadily climbing the HAC charts.
Would 25 adds be great? Sure! (Dammit New York, where the hell *are* you??!!) But, even if its not amazeballs, its a week with definitely more positives than negatives. :D

Nica. Not gonna be mad at Z unless the song moves into top 20 HAC And Top 40 CHR. They have been very supportive of Adam and I am sure they will add the second single faster

I agree. It's good! The promo seems to be working, the song is moving up and it's rising on itunes! He's working his butt off!!! (Maybe we can hope for a wardrobe malfunction!!) ;D

Just be aware that Adele is coming up behind him fast. She is only 71 spins behind and could pass in the next day or two. Happily, there does appear to be some new spinners showing up on Yes, but probably not enough to hold her off for long.  |

Is the consensus here that BTIKM is pretty much dead on CHR? I'm happy with how it's doing on HAC & iTunes finally, but don't really have much hope for Top40.
Question - IIHY didn't do as well as WWFM, but we are hoping if BTIKM is a moderate hit it will pave the way for single #2. That didn't happen in Era#1 so what makes us think it will happen now? Is it because of the UK flailing over Cuckoo & other songs? More CHR friendly?
I am NOT angsting here at all - just trying to understand how the Radio-savvy peeps feel about it.

No, I don't feel BTIKM is dead on CHR. This week will be interesting because the drop in spins last week was due to one station. But this week, Boston is spinning more. IMO, the new songs have nothing to do with IIHY. It seems Adam has made a conscious effort to assure he has 3-4 radio ready songs. I truly think Adam knows Pop music. He had no say on what went on FYE.
