I'm a HUGE Queen fan and to this day, as soon as I hear Freddie's voice, I get tears in my eyes so I can sympathize with some of the Queen fans. However, I'm also a HUGE Adam fan and can't wait to see him kill it with Brian and Roger. That said, there are a few songs that I don't think Adam should do ... not because he couldn't, I know he could, but because it is too engraved in everyone's heart as Freddie. For instance 'Love of My Life' is one that only Brian would sing by himself when on tour with Paul Rodgers and I'm hoping that he does it alone (and gives Adam a rest) at Sonisphere. But there are some QUEEN songs that Adam should not sing. But I have grown to completely trust Adam on matters like this -- he seems to have a great sense of what is appropriate. He handled the EMAs with grace. I am confident that it will be OK -- no better than OK -- it will be great. |
