I am amused by it every time and it makes me smile. I was especially amused when the official show twitter pointed out that Adam Levine was on the show and not Adam Lambert. I wonder how annoyed Adam Levine is about the whole thing by now? |

That would be a dream event - I'd sedate myself and fight the throngs of wandering frat brats. Or I'll just tag along with Jack White and have an entire 'that's it I can die now' experience. Can I sleep on your lawn if Jack won't let me stay with him? ;D Sorry to miss this discussion earlier, and far be it from me to poach LindaG23's party, but if push comes to shove (that is, if Cayman shoves you off Linda's couch  #doesntsoundlikeher) you needn't sleep on the "lawn" (late lamented lawn, to be exact--last summer's drought pretty much put an end to that pipe-dream, moment of silence...thank you, lol). We've got a fold-out on the screened-in porch with your name on it ;D. There's even a ceiling fan! And my pad is at the center of the Southby action. But word to the wise: LindaG23 has great digs--and she lives in the neighborhoodiest neighborhood of all neighborhoods! Will the neighbors complain? Hell, they're more likely to throw a block party in y'all's honor! But seriously, it would be so much fun to have Adam at SXSW. EVERYONE is in town for it. Mainly it celebrates indy music, but there are plenty of A-list big name shows, too (for example, I wouldn't put it past'em to book a Queen concert.) And talk about overcoming the Idol stigma! Crossing all appendages! Seoulmate: festival is putting it mildly. There are literally thousands of bands, plus indie movie premieres galore and a new "interactive" festival for social media nuts. The festival website boasts "more than 5000 events" over the roughly ten-day period of the festival, but those are just the official ones. There are thousands and thousands more unofficial concerts as the whole city gets in on the action. In my neighborhood, many of the houses set up make-shift stages on their front lawns, get out the bbq smoker and a keg, and have their own concerts right there at home. It's pretty damn fun. Awwwwww I miss Austin right now!!! ETA: mika: if you bring Jack White, y'all can even get the guest room ;D. Nursing a MAJOR crush on that dude. Didja see him wink on SNL the other night? swoonage. |

Kidd is extremely ADD (his words) at times. He does take medication. So no telling what he met. It sounded like he was into a zone and not out of it. Someone that went this morning said he seemed to concentrate too much on 2 areas of topic of conversation so maybe he listened back and was commenting on that. |
