Adam said in one of this week's interviews that the vocals were done. Of course, that means it is in production now. I am hoping they keep most of the original production from Ollie ( the Adam demo some peeps heard.) Still side eyeing Dr Luke :-/

Also, I think it's "but I kinda like the pain" not "try to fight the pain." that kinda makes more sense, but hard to tell. I also don't think it's splendor of clothes, that makes NO sense, but can't tell what it is. We need Adam to tweet lyrics. By the way, where is Adam now? Did he fly back to LA with the band? Doesn't he have Alison's wedding this weekend, it is on the east coast, or did we determine where it is? |

I'm really hung up on the "Chokehold" lyrics.
I keep hearing something like, "Baby, I just * something* my clothes (my coat?), But I feel a deeper pull." Also, in the next verse, I think I hear "suffocate."

Why do I feel that Adam wants us to hear the new songs so that we can kind of demand them from RCA.. Am I dreaming,over the top or just CUCKOO? I don't think you're any of those things, but I just don't think that's how it works. Fans know what they like/don't like, but folks whose actual money is at stake research and live radio play and all that stuff. I think they know things fans don't. I think he sang the new songs just 'cuz he's excited about them, to create buzz for the album whether one of those three songs is the new single or not. I agree.  |

I wish Adam could get a couple days rest. I feel he is tiring. He looks great, but I have a feeling this is all catching up with him....just a couple days rest, please. Maybe see Sauli for a bit.

What I don't get, is why RCA might trust a Bruno Mar's song more then Adam with the great co-writers he has working with him. I mean Cuckoo is by the same hit maker that co- wrote katy perry's hits. Q3 do you mean by organic to get on YouTube and play the new songs over and over ,so someone takes notice? I meant leave Twitter be organic and do not try to organize a hashtag campaign directed at RCA. ---- on single #2 - it appears to be weeks away - and the last we heard it was not picked yet ----
We have not heard the Bruno Mars song yet. I do not even know if it is done. I will reserve my opinion until I hear it. Adam said they were considering a couple of tracks but he did not say which two. (I believe -- but there may be an interview I missed.) The only thing that would surprise me is if RCA releases another mid-tempo track as single #2. So that would mean that Cuckoo seems like it must be in play. I think the second track could be the Bruno Mars track but there may be more surprises in the works. RCA did not release Fever as a single, so the mere association of Bruno Mars with a track is prob not enough to make it the next single. But waiting until that track is done to pick single #2, does make sense to me. IN THE MEANTIME -- PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO REQUEST BTIKM. if the album will be released in April, the single for UK should be selected soon and go to radio there. Usually the singles in UK are released a week before the album and the song should get a few week on radio before its release, right? But of course it could be, that the first single for UK will be other than the second single in other countries. |
