Still a few pages to catch up but if I don't post this now it gets old. I am not in the target audience group and I always love slow songs the most but have also liked to listen to real rock. I know nothing of pop radio so I hope the label makes the right decision for their target group - I will second Adam's single whatever it is. I like BTIKM and especially OOL and I am sure that the new album's uptempo tracks will make their way to my slow-favouring brain eventually. That being said here is my first impression. In general I was hearing 80's disco with these two new songs and I have my doubts how people might react to that - perhaps it is new to the younger audience and they don't resent the old vibe and concentrate on the touch of modern sound. I was a bit surprised how prominent the old vibe is but it is fine with me and I liked the songs. Perhaps the tweaking to today is to be heard better in proper audio. Cuckoo did nothing to me, no hook, not catchy. I did not feel the urge to dance nor to sing along. I can see that Adam is having fun and I can detect a little bit of funkiness and maybe it is good for clubs, IDK. Trespassing is still catchy and fun and would be my choice for single. It would show another side of Adam. I appreciate the attitude, the strong beat and the message. Chokehold is the best for me personally. Intriguing melody line introducing something a bit different so it is easily recognizable. Good groove for some substance and some repetition for singing along. I love it. Is it Mapril yet ??? Belle, I agree with everything you said. I feel the same way. I've always been totally about the "voice", so maybe that's why I prefer the slower songs. That - for me - is where he really showcases it. Maybe Cuckoo will grab me when I hear a good version of it with good sound. I mostly listen to classic rock also.

@1:40 he is looking to his left and points to his ear. Is that just part of his performance or is he communication with the sound technician? I cannot see ear monitors. Can you? He had none during his BTIKM perfomances on TV and the accustic performances, but than I think Cassie has said, that he probably didn't need them, because he did not move much and had speakers right in front of him. But that the first thing does not apply here, right? ??? This is Misha's!

I was actually wondering if he did those 2 songs to get the publics opinion on them? Longshot? I thought about that, too. And don't think it is a longshot as they have to decide the second single soon and maybe wanted feedback from the audience and fans. But actually 3 songs, we did not have full trespassing before, but I personally have not paid that much attention to it, because we got 2 brand new other songs.

MISHA thank you so much for the vids! It's so frustrating that just when it gets to the part where I'm trying to figure out the lyrics and want to see his mouth moving, someone gets in the way! ArgH!!!

My absolutely diletant rating of these three new songs: 1. Chokehold - 10/10 my #1, I like everything about this song, melody, rhytm, lyrics 2. Trespassing - 9/10 energy bomb, positive vibe, very rhytmic, makes you wanna dance all night but I love Chokehold a bit more ;D 3. Cuckoo - 6,5/10 don't stone me please, this song didn't grow on me so much but I guess I will change my opinion as soon as I hear the studio version or HD quality version

I'm not sure it would mean much to most radio listeners to have a Bruno Mars- written song. Would they even know he had anything to do with it if his vocals aren't on there? Having not heard the song, of course, it's impossible to say whether it's a potential radio hit, but I'd rather that RCA go with sound rather than credentials when picking the next single. Yes, it would. It is Bruno Mars. He has had massive hits on the radio for three straight years, including songs where he is not the vocalist and a few that are collabs. I don't know how much it would help in the long run, but Bruno's name attached to a song certainly doesn't hurt things- especially at first. Sometimes half the battle is just getting PDs to even take a serious look at a song. If PDs only choose 4-8 songs out of 80 songs they have to consider every month, record labels want ANYTHING that can help their artist's songs get their foot in the front door. WWFM is the song that did the best for Adam, and it had PINK's name attached to it. I don't know how much it really helped, but I bet it didn't hurt and it may have even helped
