One more thought on the band thing and then I must be off to RL. I was talking with a client the other day and he said, "My company has a no ASSHOLE policy. We don't care how much money you have, if you are an asshole we won't work with you." This is a big company in the entertainment industry, not a mom and pop so this is a serious statement. Adam has to spend SO MUCH time with his band. On tour, at these seemingly endless radio gigs, traveling here and there.... The no asshole policy is probably true in Adam land and from all accounts Tommy is a nice guy and fun to hang out with. The best guitar player? Unlikely. Not an asshole.... pretty sure that's right. Willing to go along with Adam's vision....yep! Adam picked him. There's a reason for that. Yes. Agrees w/ ADAM'S vision. |

The Brad Walsh remix going around fandom was an early unfinished version, that was unintentionally leaked Brad said. So we don't know if it was ever going to be released for sale or if it might be in the future. ETA: or what everyone else said. |

I don't know if you're talking about me, but if you ARE , what I'm saying is that, EVERYONE for me is allowed to say anything he wants, if I'm not interested, I scroll. Not dissing, jut not interested. If you're talking about someone else, you can share who you are referring to. Gelly, don't expect me to give you names, so not my cup of tea. I scroll too, imagine that, when I'm not interested. But I don't say that to other people, especially after making it very clear whose posts are being referred to. It's impolite. It's impolite to say that I'm not interested? For me it's about being real. I AM NOT INTERESTED. You might be talking about the most fascinating thing in the world. I am not interested. Others might be. That's why I scroll. |

This is my first time posting here. I have been lurking here for months and loved the friendly bantor and comments on this site which is why I finally decided to join. Unfortunately, lately I am seeing a lot of negative comments regarding Adam's band (i.e. Tommy) that have me thinking maybe I shouldn't be a part of this group. This is becoming just like what is going on on Twitter and is very unsettling. I come to this site to read positive comments, not negative. I understand that some people like Kevin more than Tommy and vice versa. I like them both - Kevin as the keyboardist and musical director and Tommy as the guitarist. They are both very talented. They also happen to have different personalities. So what! They are both part of Adam's band and neither deserve any negative comments (i.e. "heavy handed"). I would love to be able to continue to come to this site and read about all of the awesome things that are happening with Adam and read all of the love we have for him. This site is supposed to be all about supporting Adam right?! I hope this site can stay positive and not become another Twitter like forum. Thanks! Hi Hanjorob!! - I don't have any pretty graphics but welcome and glad you delurked. I think that to which you refer will sink below the surface again soon and things will be shiny again. SInce it's a little slow at the moment, let me ask a question S*&@^#.....Adam just did a promo at 104.1 KRBE.....and you noted it would be nice if they either Added or Played his new single. I would assume that is the purpose of his visit, so why would a station have him visit, do a sm song session and then negate his song? I don't get it. I would think the whole purpose of the visit for the station anyway, is to promote the artist they play and it's look good for them - I guess thinking the station is a big important station in their minds? Or is it a chance he takes in hopes that this station who has not played his single, will add it? I noticed a radio station here in PA that shared the promo w/Q102 and has played WWFM but as of yet, played the new single very rarely, and yes, I have been requesting like 2 x a week. Mix 106? I have never heard it on there :( Not that I listen THAT often but often enough randomly to at least hear it once or twice... |
