Adam's a great-looking guy With eyes that are blue as the sky And hair that stands tall, But that isn't all: His glambulge will poke out your eye!

"a rapt audience of 50 contest winners (most of whom looked to be thrilled suburban moms)" Sigh. Exactly who do they think is most likely to be able to show up on a week day? Lots of people can't get away from work or school for these things, see lynne's post, above. Me, I'm ready to quit worrying about this perception, and especially ready to quit reacting to it as if it were a terrible thing to be perceived as a suburban mom. Older women are one of the most stigmatized groups in our society, and I'm ready to reject the stigma, be proud of who I am, including a few gray hairs and battle scars. Wanna scream out, no more hiding ... and ... Walk that walk like you don't give a fuck. As a wise man once said. Actually, I think suburban moms sound more like MILF's than gray-haired grandmas. JS Here's my limerick attempt: There once was a crooner named Lambert Dressed to kill from his boots to his glam-shirt But if you're a gal He'll just be your pal Unless you're hiding a prize 'neath your damn-skirt! ;D

Better Than I Know Myself - Adam LambertSaturday, March 17, 2012 1:23 PM May be falling now, I had it #347 at 1:00pm EDT ETA: just checked again and it's back up a little to #354. Probably getting bounced around as other songs on the countdown get bumps. Isn't it showing on west coast now? Since it is Saturday -- and the positions are relative to other songs, it could just be the effect of the other songs on the chart moving around. Plus, although iTunes keeps their ranking algorithm secret they have said it is a time weighted average -- that keeps it from being too volatile but also make the rank we see now based in part upon recent history, not just sales in the past 7 minutes or hour. They also change the ranking algorithm just like YouTube and Google do so people can't crack it and manipulate it. App developers would love to figure out how to rig iTunes ranks.

I take great umbrage at that stampsgal....and no using your location as an excuse as I am from the Stampede city myself...AND I AM all blonde!!! seriously!!!!! ;D ;D Frankly -- I wish the shorthand for BTIKM was Better -- much easier to type!! I wonder how many times I have typed WWGM and BTIKM????? I know Q3 ... all these acronyms we have to learn...imagine by album FIVE what our brains will going through. You got me thinking maybe with my error in thinking we could use "M" for BTIKM, but no one but us would know what the dickens it meant. "BM" was another thought but that means something totally different to a nurse ( momtomany). ( did I just write that )So I guess we have to stick it out...( no limerick pun intended ) and finger fumble with the keys to get all these "codes" right. And mszue,....by album 5 it could be old age not the blond joke coming true. ;D ( I had my shower fixed my blondish hair, shook my brain a bit, posted here and now off for errands)

Is that the Lite station throwing out that quote about "suburban moms?" Because, gee, who do they think their audience is to begin with? Actually, an audience of "suburban moms" would probably be YOUNGER than their typical demographic. I remain a little baffled by Adam visiting a LiteFM station to begin with, however, out of all the Chicago stations he visited, this one gave him the most time and open advertising. It feels like B96 and KISS basically snuck him in and out completely under the radar. And, did that mini fan "concert" (well, it was only a couple songs) even happen at WTMX? I haven't seen a single tweet? On a better note, I actually heard BTIKM TWICE on the radio last night in the span of about 10 minutes True, it was around 9:30PM and one spin was from U-Mix-It, but it made me happy. The second spin was from an unmonitored station, 96.7; the station may be unmonitored, but it covers the Chicagoland area and is probably the #2 HAC.

No it was a report about the Boston visit I think, the KISS concert announcement.
