sounds like the album has not been finished yet... My first thought was, WTF is he recording now!! :  But then I decided this is a good thing. If they are having him do something in Chicago, instead of waiting until he gets back to L.A., then they are trying to finish up something with some "soon-ish" date in mind. Maybe they need to add more panting to Trespassing!  Or, how about this?! Record a PG version of the one line in Cuckoo that says "Give a fuck" or something with the "ass" line in Trespassing. Although "ass" shouldn't be a problem since there have been at least 2 big songs in the past 2 years using the word. Forget You had the line "I really hate your ass right now" and it was performed verbatim, on the Grammys, with the Muppets!!  YES! I like the way you think, lady! By the way, have we spent any time coming up with alternatives to "give a fuck"? Any guesses? "Don't give a buck?" (kinda lame). Can't come up with anything better at the mo. Come on, limericists! Whatcha got? Speaking of which, here is my submission, inspired by the frustrations of the moment: We analyze every last shirt, We squee and we flail and we bert. Should he be "skeered"? We named his damn beard! GIVE US MUSIC AND NO ONE GETS HURT! ETA: "Walk that walk like you own the whole block"? Too much of a change? I guess my vote would be to just go with "give a F---", but it's a bit harder to sing live that way... |

I was subjected to Nickleback's "Rockstar" on the radio the other day, (the things I listen to for Adam  ) and found it interesting that they seemed to bleep out the word "drug" or "drugs". |

Thank you so much for all your messages of welcome... Gelly -do you remember how cold it was those nights of his GNTs in London and Birmingham? I stood in line for hours in Birmingham to get a good view only to find that the room was so tiny everyone was close. I was about six feet from him for the whole thing. Oh I DO!! I also was there for both shows from 9.30 am  and it was FREEEEEEZING!! But it was worth it! I would totally do it again.I got to stand front row in London on the right side next to the M & G people and I loved it! 8-) |
