So San Diego added Kris today but just added Adam last week. How much you want to bet that they very quickly figured out last week that if they added Kris and not Adam they'd have a shit load of outraged Glamberts on their hands. Plus they brought Adam's song out of retirement AGAIN to pit it against Kris in that Sophie's Challenge thing. This kind of thing is what convinces me Adam is not having nearly as easy a time at radio that people seem to think. Just because he had two songs that got play last era does not mean that everything is hunky dory easy peasy. The reactions of all these DJ's being so amazed at how nice and humble he is shows that they have preconceived notions about Adam that are mostly negative. Whereas I bet all their preconceived notions about Kris are along the lines of "What a nice Christian boy".

Also another San Diego station is now playing BTIKM. However, I still think that they are a Rock Lite station masquerading as HAC!!! It is WGWG Central!!! |

Yes it is unfair Let me again put some spin on these #'s C HAC...ugh >:( >:( an AI of .057 He is dropping like a ton of bricks. At one point his AI was 1.569 on March 6th. THis song is NOT clicking!!! CHR the same position for since March 12th. moving oh so slow NOW where is his POP presence????????? Daughtry is being played. Adam's song is just a pop as Daughtry. AND if NAL gets smore adds and more plays, I'm throwing my radio out the window BTW local station here WSTW played his song 3 times this weekend, NO BTIKM I have requested a few times and texted request on weekends to no avail. You think I'm annoyed..??????? |

Does this really come as a surprise. Adam keeps saying how hard it is for a gay artist to make it on conservative radio. He practically has to kill himself to get played.
Thank goodness for his fans who have his back,his front and every other part of Adam. Adam and his fans,you and me and all the others, will win out ,it will just take longer , a great deal of fortitude , patience and pushing,pushing,pushing.

I'm not really worried about CHR for this song because I think when they decided to delay the album release they probably decided to just let CHR go and focus on pushing the song just on HAC. They have probably signaled to CHR stations that they will drop a more CHR friendly song before album release and they can still use the promo they are doing now to build support for the upcoming single. They ARE still working HAC but all the signs indicate to me that they are gearing up for the next single. Especially Adam making a deliberate change at the radio gig last week and introducing BTIKM as the "first" single rather than the "new" single. They went ahead with the Germany and Japan releases for BTIKM because those had physical releases attached and would probably been more costly to change. Since Shoshanna said that UK was NOT getting BTIKM as a single we shouldn't be too far off from another song release and it makes no sense to push BTIKM on Top 40 if they are coming with a song they will like in the next few weeks. I think it may actually be better if BTIKM doesn't make top 40 on CHR before they release the next song because the general public is not going to be aware of whether or not the song was intended to be pushed to Pop.

It's not a surprise to me but there are plenty of posters who insist that Adam has ZERO problems with radio because WWFM and IIHY were hits so therefore there is ZERO prejudice. Stupid assumption but there it is. |

Melliemon. we do have his back and we are working like crazy. but I really do think it's time to move on because at this point Itunes is where? 345 approximately.....has never reached 100 or even 200 so....as much as I love it, another single please
