Sugaree, best to you and mom and wisdom to the professionals working with her.
Total change of direction--I thought the Courtney girl sounded as if she really liked Kevin and the story was totally innocuous, despite the regular DJ's being stupid and obnoxious. I thought she handled it quite well and it sounded as if Kevin was a mensch about the cab, etc. What I find absolutely amazing is that it seemed as if she was so into Kevin that she barely noticed Adam. I mean really, how is that possible???????
And squee about the adds.

Does anyone else find it strange that in these online polls which pit Adam against another artist, Adam so often starts out behind and then rapidly catches up and surpasses the other artist? I can't count the number of times I've read, "Adam is behind in this poll! He needs our help!" Is it really possible that the fans of other artists discover these polls before we do?
I'm suspicious that it's a set-up. The makers of these polls give the other artist a handicap because they know the competitive nature of Adam fans will give them a bunch of hits once the Adam fans become aware of the poll. I don't know--I think Adam brings out the conspiracy theorist in me.

This was Atlanta, we've had plenty of videos from performances after that and his voice is just fine. All this girl knew was that after the concert Adam was not speaking and was using gestures and notes. Doesn't sound like she was a huge Adam fan so she's not likely to be aware of his vocal maintenance routines. The thing is Adam doesn't wait for a doctor or a vocal coach to tell him to shut up. He knows how to take care of his voice from theater. He has spoken often in the past about the routine of not talking on show days and such. The Jezebel show was only the second performance recently with more than two songs so if he went all out it make sense that he would be silent after the show. It's routine vocal maintenance for him. Precisely. Its called preventative compensation. Like during GNT when his voice was feeling "iffy" so he would throw in a few more hip rolls and back off of the high notes. He KNOWS he's got a grueling schedule and that there are times to push, and times to back off so he can keep on schedule. {shrug} IMO, I think he's just doing what's best to keep everything rolling for long-term. My first thought was that Adam was offering an excuse to politely back out of the after-party.

Uploaded by ENTV on Mar 18, 2012 Michael Slezak (TVLine.com) and Melinda Doolittle ("Idol" Season 6) review the Season 11 Top 11 (Songs From the Year You Were Born) episodes, and wonder: What can Joshua Ledet learn from Adam Lambert? Will Phillip or Colton snag the cougar vote? What can Elise and Erika do stick around? And much more...
